Who Created Men-- God Or Anunnaki?

What Is Mankind's Purpose.. See:

Why are we here and by whose hands? And you have to ask these questions to yourself and to all the religious folks Beloved, because no human on this planet really knows about how we were really created, nor does anyone really understand why we are all here. So don't let them fool you, because even the gods in all these religions do not even know how they were created, who created them and why.  And so every 5th. or 6th. or 7th. Dimensional being call him or herself God, and then decrees what is to be to a human prophet, and then give those documents a few thousand years for them to age well, and then no one will actually question their origin, the basis for their writings, and if there are any real truths to them. Because 99 percent of the people just accept those religious writings as being pure and 100 percent correct, because they have been around forever and all those preachers just preach from them daily.

But if you were to read all these religious texts from front to back (Bible, Quran, Indian Texts, Buddhist Texts etc..) Then you would quickly see that there are holes in all of them, also they all copy or plagiarize from the Sumerian and Babylonian texts. And then here comes the Anunnaki, the Pleidians, the Greys, the gods and goddesses, the supreme beings etc.. And they all tell you that they created the universe in 6 days and everything in it.

And it's okay if you want religion to have a base in your life, something to keep you grounded and something to make you needy and helpless, as well to help stay on the straight and narrow path. Because when you listen to all the religious folks, they all tell you that their god will do it, their god will help them, their god will save them, their god will feed them, bless them, heal them, deliver them etc.. And all glory belong to Allah, belong to Yahweh, belong to Jehovah, belong to Buddha etc.. And so Humanity is all slave, and every being will tell you that he or she loves to serve, must serve god, for it is their purpose. BUT WHAT SAY YOU AND WHAT DO YOU THINK BELOVED?

But for now, here is what the Anunnaki claim in their writings about all they have done for mankind, and how we came about, and why we are here. Which is only to serve them...

Who Created Men-- God Or Anunnaki?

1 - The Celestial Battle: Nibiru meets Solaris and Tiamat
(Proto Earth)

Six thousand years ago, astronaut/pioneers from the planet Nibiru dictated Enuma elish -- the Creation Epic -- to the Sumerians. The Creation Epic says our Sun, a solitary star at this time in its history, first created a planet the Nibirans called Tiamat. Tiamat was the proto-Earth. It orbited Sun counterclockwise.

Next, the Sun, called Apsu, created Mercury and propelled Mercury with water and gold to Tiamat. Venus with MarsJupiter with SaturnUranus with Neptune formed as pairs and orbited the Sun counterclockwise too. Tiamat lacked a partner-planet, but one of her moons, Kingu, enlarged. Kingu was about to become Tiamat’s partner planet and orbit the Sun, rather than Tiamat.

But, four billion years ago, before Kingu could attain planetary orbit around the sun, Nibiru entered the Solar System clockwise and split off a piece of Neptune. That chunk of Neptune became its moon, Triton. Triton, unlike other moons in the System, orbits Neptune clockwise. As Nibiru passed through the Solar System, it lost three moons, tore four moons from Uranus and tilted Uranus’ orbit.

Then Nibiru ripped eleven moons from Tiamat and pulled Gaga, Saturn’s largest moon, into clockwise orbit (between Neptune and Uranus) where Gaga is now Pluto.
Some of Nibiru’s moons hit Tiamat, creating the Pacific Basin in what was left of Tiamat. That intact remainder of Tiamat is Earth. In the Pacific, waters and life-seeds of Nibiru and Tiamat evolved together.

The shards of Tiamat (from the Pacific gouge Nibiru’s moon made) are Asteroids and comets. Nibiru’s gravity took all Tiamat’s moons but Kingu.

Nibiru’s invasion left Kingu lifelessly orbiting Earth. Tiamat’s other moons became satellites of Nibiru.

Nibiru stabilized into a clockwise orbit (equal to 3,600 orbits of Earth around the Sun).

In the Creation Epic, the Sumerians knew and wrote of an advanced civilization on a planet in a different solar system. They had the concept of a pulsar, the star around which Nibiru had orbited before that star collapsed. The Niburan astronauts, the Lords, had their Sumerian scribes write--only lately being confirmed by our scientists--of the composition and movement of the astronomical bodies of Solaris’ system.

The Lords told the Sumerians that there was water on asteroids, comets, Neptune, Uranus, Venus, Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, also on the rings of Saturn and Saturn’s and Jupiter’s moons as well. Our astronomers recently confirmed what the Lords dictated.

The Sumerian Creation Epic lends compelling evidence for the extraterrestrial settlement of Earth by Nibirans, the human astronauts who came to be regarded as the gods of Earth.

Spacemap recorded by Sumerians of Nibiran Lords’ route map to Earth from Nibiru to the passage between Jupiter and Mars. Segments are arranged in the sequence of approaching Earth. line at 45 degrees shows spaceship coming through vapor. [Sitchin 1978, The 12th Planet, page 274]

After Nibiruthe tenth planet in our solar system, entered the inner solar system clockwise and achieved relative orbital stability around the Solaris (our sun), life on Nibiru evolved until it culminated in technologically-sophisticated, long-lived homo sapiens, the humans of Nibiru.

Anu pledges fealty to Alalu, becomes Alalu’s cupbearer. In exchange Anu’s son Ea and Alalu’s Daughter Damkina will begat the heir to the Nibiran Throne.
[Sitchin, Z., The Wars of Gods and Men, 1985, page 84]
Nibirans unified, after disastrous thermonuclear wars, under a single kingship. But Nibiru was losing its atmosphere, critical to heat regulation and survival.
500,000 years ago, King Lahma vacillated over how to deal with the escaping atmosphere. Should he nuke the volcanoes to regenerate the atmosphere? Or should he send miners to Solaris’ Asteroids, where probes registered gold which could be powdered and spread as a shield for Nibiru’s atmosphere?

Prince Alalu, exasperated by Lahma’s inaction and desperate to save Nibiru, pushed Lahma off a tower.

Lahma’s heir, Anu, agreed at first to Alalu’s rule. Alalu and Anu sealed their alliance when Anu’s firstborn son, Ea/Enki (whose autobiography, compiled by Sitchin, is the principal authority for our tale), married Dimkina, Alalu’s Daughter.

Ea related how Anu had earlier denied him his bride-to-be, his (Ea’s) half-sister Ninmah, when she bore the child of their half-brother, Enlil.

Anu simultaneously honored Ea and proclaimed fealty to Alalu by offering a compromise successor to the houses of both Alalu and Anu via the child Dimkina and Ea will create, the baby Marduk

The story:
Alalu, who murdered King Lahma for his failure to solve the environmental crisis of the Solar System’s tenth planet, Nibiru--the loss of its atmosphere--pacified Lahma’s heir, Anu, marrying the his Daughter, Damkina (Ninti) to Anu’s heir, Ea (Enki) to breed the next King of Nibiru

Anu [Sitchin Cards, King of Hearts]
Narrative resumes:
Alalu nuked the volcanoes, but this failed to re-establish Nibiru’s atmosphere. He also failed to get gold for an atmospheric shield from the Asteroids; en route, the rocket of gold miners he sent crashed without survivors. For nine more Nibiran years (nine orbits of Nibiru around Solaris), Alalu’s rule gave no relief from atmospheric degradation.

Anu, rightful king by Nibiran tradition, challenged Alalu. "Anu gave battle to Alalu. To hand-to-hand combat, with bodies naked, Alalu he challenged. Alalu in combat was defeated; by acclaim Anu was hailed as king." [Sitchin, Z., The Lost Book of Enki pages 24 - 39]

Alalu stole a missile-armed rocket and blasted from Nibiru to Earth. From Earth, he controlled the gold Nibiru needed to survive. He positioned his nukes toblast Nibiru on its next pass by Earth. Alalu dangled gold as a carrot and menaced missiles as a stick. To Anu on Nibiru he beamed, "On another world I am, the gold of salvation I have found. The fate of Nibiru is in my hands. To my conditions you must give heed!" [Sitchin, op.cit. page 60]

"Return my throne," Alalu demanded. But Anu’s Foremost Son, Enlil, demanded proof of gold on Earth. So Alalu documented his proof and transmitted it to the home planet. Enlil distrusted the proof. He asked Anu to convene the Nibiru Council. In the Council, Enlil and the counselors implored Anu to keep his kingship

Enki [Sitchin Playing Cards, 2003, Ace of Hearts]

Enlil: [Sitchin Playing Cards, 2003,4 of Hearts]
"Return my throne," Alalu demanded. But Anu’s Foremost Son, Enlil, demanded proof of gold on Earth. So Alalu documented his proof and transmitted it to the home planet. Enlil distrusted the proof. He asked Anu to convene the Nibiru Council. In the Council, Enlil and the counselors implored Anu to keep his kingship.

The scientist Ea, Firstborn Son of Anu, addressed the Council.

Although Ea was Anu’s Firstborn Son, Ea was second in succession to Anu’s throne.

The first to succeed Anu was Enlil, the Foremost Son. Enlil was first in succession because his mother, Anu’s Royal Spouse, Antu, was Anu’s half-sister. This made Enlil, not Ea, Anu’s Foremost Son by Nibiru succession rules.
Ea, however, though only Firstborn–not Foremost--Son, married Damkina, Alalu’s Daughter. As Alalu’s son-in-law as well as Anu’s Firstborn, Ea could be an acceptable go-between for both Anu and Alalu. Thus all in the Council listened intently to Ea address the threat and promise Alalu was offering them.

Ea proposed that he, in person, verify gold on Earth. If from gold dust of Earth, a shield for Nibiru its atmosphere to save, said Ea, let Alalu Earth rule as King. For kingship on Nibiru, let him wrestle Anu.

Let me in a chariot [rocket] to Earth journey, a path through the Bracelet [Asteroids] with water, not fire [Alalu had used nuclear missiles to get through the Asteroids] I shall fashion. On Earth, from the waters let me the precious gold to obtain; to Nibiru back it will be sent. [Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki op.cit. page: 66]

Anu endorsed Ea’s plan and sent him with pilot Anzu and fifty male astronauts to Earth. Enlil seethed with frustration that Ea pre-empted the heroic mission to Earth.

Our story so far:
The deposed king of Nibiru, Alalu, stole a rocket armed with missiles and set himself up on Earth, promising Nibirans-- if they restore his throne--Earth’s gold to save itself from atmospheric loss and the nukes he aimed at Earth. The Nibirans sent Alalu’s son-in-law, Ea, (who is also son of Alalu’s rival, Anu) to Earth to verify the gold and negotiate with Alalu on Anu’s behalf.
Ea, rocketing to Earth in his spaceship, used up his water supply–needed for the propulsion system--blasting Asteroids in his way. He landed on Mars to draw water from a lake, then rocketed for Earth, "its gold Nibiru’s fate for salvation or doom containing." [Sitchin, Z., The Lost Book of Enki page 71]

The astronauts splashed into the Persian Gulf; there Alalu guided them ashore.

Ea built a settlement, Eriduat the head of the Persian Gulf. From the Gulf, he extracted some gold. He built a plane, and with his personal pilot, Abgal, tested for more gold all over the planet.

Anu beamed orders from Nibiru to Earth. He commanded Ea to send Alalu’s ship back to Nibiru with as much gold as possible.

In Alalu’s rocket, Ea and Abgal found seven nuclear missilesThey hid the nukes in a cave.

Anzu, the interplanetary pilot, came to ready Alalu’s rocket to return to Nibiru. But when he saw the missiles gone from the ship, Anzu confronted Ea. "When to Earth we flew, only water cannon did we use to blast through the Asteroids, nearly killing our engine due to water wasted blasting rocks. To return to Nibiru, I need the nukes you took from this ship."

Ea retorted, "Foresworn is the weapons’ use." [SItichin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki, page 82]. "Replaced you are, Anzu, as interplanetary pilot, for we are pledged to no nukes in space. Your attitude compels me to relieve you. Stay here on Earth.

Abgal, my personal pilot, will take Alalu’s ship back to Nibiru. And with water cannon only shall he navigate the asteroids. " Ea programmed a return route through the Asteroids and Abgal flew the spacecraft to Nibiru with sample gold to test as an atmospheric shield there.

6 - Anu Sends Enlil to Rule Earth, Verify Gold

Story So Far:
King Anu of Nibiru sent his Firstborn, Ea to Earth to deal with his father-in-law, Alalu. On Earth, Ea hid Alalu’s Nukes and sent Anzu with gold samples back to Nibiru
Narrative Resumes:
On Nibiru, scientists processed the gold "to make of it the finest dust, to skyward launch it was hauled away. A Shar [one orbit of Nibiru around the Sun, equal to 3,600 Earth years; Nibiruans live so long they seem immortal by our standards] did the fashioning last, a Shar did the testing continue. With rockets was the dust heavenward carried, by crystals’ beams was it dispersed.

[But] when Nibiru near the Sun came, the golden dust was by its rays disturbed; the healing in the atmosphere was dwindled, the breach to bigness returned." [Sitchin, Z., Lost Book of Enki, page 86] Anu sent Abgal back to Earth for more gold.

Drawing form Sitchin,Z., 2004, The Earth Chronicles Expeditions, page26

On Earth again, Abgal found only a small gold yield, all Ea could mine from the Gulf so far. Ea sent Abgal to Nibiru again with this disappointing yield of gold.

Prospecting, Ea found gold, huge veins of it, in southeast Africa (Abzu). Jubilant, he announced his find to Nibiru.

Back on Nibiru, Anu and Enlil received Ea’s news of vast veins of gold. Enlil, angry still that brother Ea leads the Earth Mission, demanded proof, not just of gold, but of lots of gold. Ea already gave false hope that enough gold could come from Earth’s waters to save Nibiru’s atmosphere.

Anu, unhappy with Enlil’s constant complaints about Ea, gave in. Enlil, I’m sending you to Earth; there, you’ll be in charge. Check on Ea’s find.

When Enlil made landfall on Earth, he beamed back that, despite his initial doubts, Earth probably had gold enough to save Nibiru’s atmosphere.

But the basic rivalry between Ea and Enlil (that plagues Earth to this day) surfaced again.

7 - Anu, Enlil And Ea Draw for Nibiru, Earth, Seas And  Mining

Our story far:
King Anu of Nibiru sent his dynastic heir, Enlil, to Earth to rule it and check Ea’s claim of vast gold to send back to Nibiru to save that planet’s atmosphere.
"Father Anu," Enlil broadcasts from Earth to Nibiru, "Affirm, by the law of succession, that I, your son by your own half-sister Antu, precedes and has authority over Ea, though, he, your eldest son, be."

"Come," Enlil implored, "to Earth in person and deal with Alalu, too, who thinks he’s king here and says he should rule Nibiru as well."
"So, 416,000 years ago, Anu flew to Earth and drew lots with Ea and Enlil. At the drawing, Anu decreed, one lot would bestow rule over Nibiru; another lot would give its holder rule of Earth and control the Persian Gulf headquarters; the last lot would give responsibility for African mining operations and sea transport.

"By their lots the tasks they divided; Anu to Nibiru to return, its ruler on the throne to remain. The Edin [Mesopotamia] to Enlil was allotted, to be Lord of Command, more settlements to establish, of the skyships and their heroes charge to take. Of all the lands until they the bar of the seas encounter, the leader to be. To Ea the seas and the oceans as his domain were granted, lands beyond the bar of the waters by him to be governed, in the Abzu [southeastern Africa] to be the master, with ingenuity the gold to procure.’" [Sitchin, Z., Lost Book of Enki, pages 92 -93]

Enlil’s first act was to award Enki his initial settlement, Eriduon the Persian Gulf, in perpetuity.

8 - Anu Defeats Alalu, Banishes Him to Mars with Anzu

Our story:
Anu, Enlil and Ea drew lots. Anu drew the lot for rule of Nibiru. Enlil drew Command of Earth. Ea drew responsibility on Earth for Seas, Mining and Lands beyond the Straits of Gibraltar.
No sooner did Anu and his sons divide rule of Nibiru and Earth, then,

Anu wrestled Alalu. They grappled. [Sitchin, The Wars of Gods and Men,
page 86]
"Forward toward Anu Alalu stepped, shouted, ‘Mastery of Earth to me was allotted; that was the promise when the gold finds to Nibiru I announced! Nor have I the claim to Nibiru’s throne forsaken.’" [Sitchin, Z., The Lost Book of Enki, page 93]

"Anu on the chest of Alalu with his foot pressed down, victory in the wrestling thereby declaring, ‘I am King’"
But when Anu lifted his foot from Alalu, "swiftly he the manhood of Anu bit off, the malehood of Anu Alalu did swallow.!" [op.cit.94]

Enlil tied Alalu up while Ea gave Anu first-aid. "Alalu," Anu groaned, "will slowly die from my seed."*

Anu condemned the sickened and doomed Alalu to spend his last days on Mars.

On his return trip to Nibiru, Anu stopped at Mars, where he left Alalu with food and tools. Anu also left Alalu’s kinsman, Anzu -- the interplanetary pilot Ea had discharged -- to care for the dying Alalu.

When Anu arrived back on Nibiru, he told the Council his plans for gold hunting through the solar system. He ordered continuous freight rockets to and from Earth. "Rockets will shuttle among way-stations on MarsEarth’s Moon, other planets and satellites between Nibiru and the sun."

King Anu sent his daughter Ninmah with female health officers to Earth. "Stop," said the King, "on the way, at Mars. If Anzu lives, give him men to set up a base there."

On Mars Ninmah found Alalu and Anzu dead. It was too late for the condemned Alalu, but Ninmah revived Anzu.

To commemorate Alalu who discovered the gold that can save Nibiru, Ninmah and Anzu, "The image of Alalu upon the great rock mountain with beams they carved. They showed him wearing an eagle’s helmet; his face they made uncovered." [Sitchin, Z., The Lost Book of Enki, page 104].

* In the later Hittite version of this
tale, Anu appointed Alalu’s grandson, Kumarbi his cupbearer (as Alalu had appointed Anu to be his cupbearer). Anu took Kumarbi to Earth to keep an eye on him. In the Hittite version, it is Kumarbi, who bit Anu’s penis. Anu forced Kumarbi to swallow poisonous stones. But Kumarbi managed to spit them out.

Kumarbi visited Ea/Enki, his sister’s husband on Earth. But on Earth, Enlil’s younger son, Adad/Teshub incited Kumarbi. Adad bragged how he and big brother Ninurta would get all the privileges of knowledge and power Kumarbi was denied. Ea took Kumarbi in a rocket for Nibiru to plead with Lama, the ancestress of both Alalu’s and Anu’s lines, for mediation. But Lama, learning that Ea’s mission lacked support of Enlil’s sons, sent "lightening winds" against Ea’s spacecraft, forcing him and Kumbari back to Earth.

Kumbari returned to Mars Base and agitated among the Igigi (astronauts), who attacked Enlil and his people on Earth. Seventy of Enlil’s men flew aircraft against the Kumarbi and the Igigi. They defeated Kumarbi but Ullikumi, Kumarbi’s son by one of the female astronauts, rallied the Igigi again.

Filling the role of Anzu in the Sumerian account, Ullikumi led the Igigi380,000 years ago. Ullikumi and the Igigi attacked the "whirlbirds" of the Enlilites, but were defeated by Enlilite champions Ninurtaand Adad.

Sitchin identifies the battles between Alalu and his descendants the basis basis for later Indian tales of battles the Indira vs Vrita fight even later Greek tales of the Titan vs God War. Indira/Vrita andTitan/Zeus are based on the Anzu/Ninurta and Adad tale the Nibirans dictated to the Sumerians.
[Sitchin, Z., 1985,The Wars of Gods and Men, pages 91 -101]

Story So Far:
King Anu of Nibiru sent his Daughter, Ninmah with female health officers to Earth to serve the astronauts mining gold there. En route, she stopped on Mars, where found Alalu and Anzu dead. She was able to revive Anzu and gave him twenty of the astronauts accompanying her to Earth. She ordered him to build there on Mars the first way station for the gold freighters. Background:
Ea says how he sees his love, his sister Ninmah, Chief Medical Officer for the Earth Mission. He reveals his perception of his rival, their brother Enlil, Commander of the Earth project.
"Enki and Enlil and Ninmah... Offspring of Anu the three leaders were, by different mothers....
Enki was the Firstborn Son; a concubine of Anu’s was his mother.
Enlil by Antu, the spouse of Anu, was born; the Legal Heir he thus became.
Ninmah by another concubine was mothered, a half sister of the two half brothers she was.... Greatly beautiful she was, full of wisdom, one quick to learn.

[ Sitchin Playing Cards, 2003,4 of Hearts]
"Ea, as Enki was then named, by Anu to espouse Ninmah was chosen, thereby their offspring son the legal successor thereafter to become. Ninmah of Enlil, a dashing commander, was enamored; by him she was seduced.... " [Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki, pages 112-113] Ea dictates to his scribe. (The rivalry between Ea and Enlil -- the critical competition that still affects Earth, shows here, as Ea refers to the sexual connection between his fiancé Ninmah and their half-brother, Commander Enlil, as "seduction.")

"A son from Enlil’s seed Ninmah bore, Ninurta.... Anu angered; as punishment he Ninmah ever to be a spouse forbade! Ea his bride-to-be by Anu’s decree abandoned; a princess namedDamkina [Alalu’s daughter] he instead espoused; a son, an heir to them was born, Marduk."
[Sitchin, 2002, op. cit.]
Ninmah gave Anzu twenty of the astronauts accompanying her to Earth. She ordered him to build there on Mars the first way station for the gold freighters.

We return from our genealogical segue to Ninmah’s journey to Earth. We left her on Mars. Ninmah and Anzu finished Alalu’s monument on Mars; she rocketed on to Earth.

As soon as she made planetfall on Earth, Nimmah showed Enlil and Ea seeds she brought. She tells them the seeds will bear a fruit from which a "euphoric elixer" can be made.

Enlil lured Ninmah into his airplane and flies her to his house "by the Cedar Forest" [Lebanon], as a perfect place to plant her seeds. "Once inside, Enlil embraced her, with fervor he kissed Ninmah, ’Oh my sister, my beloved!’ Enlil to her whispered. By her loins he grabbed her." But "Into her womb his semen he did not pour."
[op.cit., 108] He promised her a healing city and said he’ll bring their sonNinurta to Earth.

But Ninmah chilled toward Enlil when he raped Sud, an assistant she’d brought from Nibiru.

Our story:
Princess Ninmah rocketed her company of female health officers from Nibiru first to Mars (where she left Anzu to start a gold-transfer station) then to Eridu, at the head of the Persian Gulf.

Enlil [SItchin, 2003, Playing Cards]
Commander Enlil flew Ninmah (who was his sister, mother of their son, Ninurta) to his home in Lebanon to plant seeds she’d brought. Enlil courted, but failed to seduce Ninmah, but she got him to promise to send for their son. He also promised to build a health sciences center in Mesopotamia for her officers.

Though Enlil promised Ninmah a healing city and said he’ll bring Ninurta to Earth, Ninmah remained sexually aloof from Enlil.

Hurt when Ninmah’s rejected him sexually, Enlil mooned about his gardens. He watched Sud, Ninmah’s gorgeous Assistant Health Officer who’d been assigned to the Landing Platform there in Lebanon, bathing in his stream with the other young women from the medical team.

Enlil invited Sud to get high on elixir made from seeds Ninmah brought from Nibiru and planted in his garden. "Sud drank, Enlil drank too; to her Enlil of intercourse was speaking. Unwilling was the lass.... Enlil laughed and embraced her, kissed her. His semen into her womb he poured.

To Ninmah, Sud’s commander, the immoral deed was reported. Enlil, immoral one. For your deed judgment you shall face. So did Ninmah to Enlil in anger say. In the presence of fifty Anunnaki Seven Who Judge were assembled. On Enlil a punishment decreed: Let Enlil from all cities be banished...Let him exiled be. In a skychamberthey made Enlil leave the Landing Place [Lebanon]; Abgal was his pilot."
[Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki, pages 113-114]
Abgal, remember, had helped Enki hide Alalu’s nuclear missiles.

Abgal took Enlil, ostensibly, to exile in Africa. But in Africa, in what the Seven had said must be "a Land of No Return", Abgal showed Enlil the cave where the nukes were secreted. Abgal thus secretly betrayed Ea/Enki, his old patron and aligned with Enlil against Enki. Abgal told Enlil he choose a place to exile Enlil where Enlil would have the power to regain rule of Earth, using the missiles Ea believed to be so securely hidden. Abgal told Enlil, "Take the weapons into your possession, with the weapons your freedom obtain!"
[op. cit., 114]
Meanwhile, Sud was pregnant from Enlil’s rape. Enki and the tribunal asked Sud if she’d marry Enlil if she were his official spouse. She agreed to marry Enlil as his royal wife. So the tribunal and evenNinmah pardoned Enlil and he and Sud married. Sud was given the title Ninti and bore Nannar/Sin, the first Nibiran Royal born on Earth.

11 - Enki And  Ninmah Breed Girls Till She Curses Him

Our story:
Chief Health Officer Ninmah rejected the sexual advances of Commander Enlil, father of her son, Ninurta. Frustrated, Enlil raped Ninmah’s Assistant, Sud. The Seven Who Judge sentenced Enlil to exile in Africa. But when Sud, pregnant, agreed to a royal name, Ninti--and marriage to Enlil, the Tribunal pardoned Enlil and had pilot Abgal return Enlil from Exile. Since Enlil’d lost Ninmah already and lusted for Ninti anyway, he returned to Edin with renewed power. All he had to do was marry the the woman he wanted and he’d resume command of Earth operations. He didn’t even have to reveal he knew where Enki’d hidden the nuclear missiles. All he had to do was marry Ninti.
Ninmah had had enough of Commander Enlil. She was ready to explore her relation with Enki, her former fiancée.

Enki told Ninmah, "Come with me in the Abzu [Africa] ... your adoration of Enlil abandon."

In Africa, "Enki to her words of loving spoke, sweet words he spoke, ’You are still my beloved’ to her he said, caressing. He embraced her, he kissed her, she caused his phallus to water. Enki his semen into the womb of Ninmah poured. ’Give me a son,’ he cried." [Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki, page 115]

But Ninmah bore Enki a daughter, then, immediately, another daughter.

When he insisted on another pregnancy "Ninmah against Enki a curse uttered, whatever food he ate was poison in his innards....

"To distance himself from Nimmah’s vulva Enki by raised arm swore; from her curse Enki was freed. To the Edin Ninmah returned." [op. cit., 116]
Enki’s Lineage:
When Ninmah stopped Enki from impregnating her again, Enki sent to Nibiru for his wife, Damkina, and their son, MARDUK. With them, and with the children Damkina bore him on Earth, Enki built his clan -- Marduk’s earthborn half-brothers -- NERGAL, GIBIL, NINGISHZIDDA/THOTH and DUMUZI -- and their progeny.

Enki’s eldest son, Marduk, recall, was grandson of Alalu. When Alalu had seized the Nibiran Throne he bestowed his daughter, Damkina, on Anu’s son Enki/Ea.

The first son of Damkina and Ea was Marduk. Marduk, Anu and Alalu had at the time agreed, would one day reign as King of Nibiru. So Marduk, the son of Enki and Damkina, was supposed to be the heir to the Nibiran throne.

But Anu deposed and condemned Alalu, sent Enki and Enki’s siblings, Ninmah and Enlil to Earth. On EarthEnki and Enlil bred lineages. Powerful groups of patrilineally-related kin who competed for power in Operation Gold Dust.

Enlil bred his lineage on Earth with his wife, Sud/Ninti. Their sons together -- NANNAR/SIN and ISHKUR/ADAD/TESHUB -- reinforced him and his eldest son, NINURTA (Enlil’s illicit child with Ninmah) in their struggles with the Enkiites.

To the Edin Ninmah returned." [op. cit., 116]

12 - Ninurta Defeats Anzu And Astronaut Corps

Our story:
Anu of Nibiru’s two sons, Enlil (Commander of Earth Operations) and Enki (Lord of the Seas and Chief of Mines) build rival lineages on Earth as astronauts mine gold in SE Africa

By some 400,000 years ago, Enlil had established seven Mission Centers (Sippar the Spaceport; Nippur, Mission Control; Badtibira, Metalurgical Center; Shurrupak, Medical Center).

Anzu commanded 300 Nibirans on Mars Base and in the shuttle service. His men, the Igigi, rocketed gold from Mesopotamia, where Enki’s ships brought it from Africa. Anzu’s men on Mars transferred the gold to spaceships bound for Nibiru. On Nibiru, scientists powdered the gold and seeded it into the air. "Slowly was the breach in the heavens healing." [Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki, page 117]

Mission Control, Nippur
[Sitichin, 1985, The Wars of Gods and Men, page 88]
The Igigi, led by Anzu, demanded Enlil grant them better working conditions, more elixir from the fruit Ninmah grew and a rest facility on Earth. Anu beamed orders from Nibiru for Anzu to go to Enlil on Earth where Enlil will show Anzu the entire mining operation so he’d understand why the Igigi must persevere.

When Anzu arrived at NippurEnlil’s Capitol, he found Enlil reluctant to cooperate. Enlil’s reluctance to receive Anzu reflected the challenge posed by the Igigi’s demands and especially by the leadership of Anzu, kinsman to the executed Alalu. Enlil insisted he -- not Anzu -- gave orders to the Astronauts. Enlil believed that he alone had authority over the entire Earth operation; Anzu and the astronauts should obey, not challenge him.

Enki, however, persuaded Enlil to go ahead and explain the gold mining, refining and transport system to Anzu. "Our father, King Anu," said Enki, "says to convince Anzu to keep his men on the job." * So Enlil admitted Anzu to his chambers.

But when Enlil took off his clothes and set down the key to his control room, Anzu purloined the key. Anzu then slipped into the control room and stole the computer crystals that ran the spaceport and the astronaut cities in Mesopotamia. He forced Ea’s pilot Abgal to take him to the spaceport, Shu.ru.pak. There, Anzu’s men declared him king of Earth and Mars. He shut down vital services at headquarters (Nibru-ki) and cut communication between Earth and Nibiru.
Ninurta (Enlil and Ninmah’s son**) shot Anzu down in an spectacular air battle. Ninurta then freed Abgal, captured Anzu and retrieved the crystals.

Ninurta executes Anzu
[Sitchin,Z., 1985, The Wars of Gods and Men, page 99]
The Seven Who Judge -- Ea/Enki, Damkina/Ninki, Marduk/Ra, Nannar/Sin, Enlil/Yawheh, Ninmah and Ninurta -- ordered Anzu executed "with a killing ray."
Sitchin, in The 12th Planet [pages 107 -116] had earlier said the role of Anzu in The Lost Book of Enki’s account of the revolt of the Igigi [pages 117 - 121] was actually the role of Nannar, Enlil’s Legal Heir (Enlil’s first son by his legal spouse), as part of his (Nannar’s) dynastic challenge to his half-brother Ninurta (Enlil’s Firstborn) for Command of Earth. Perhaps Nannar was the power behind Anzu.

Nannar was exiled from Ur, not executed. Nonetheless, after Enlil’s son Ninurta defeated the Igigi and executed their leader, Anzu, all the Nibiran leaders -- including Nannar, -- pledged to honor Ninurta as Enlil’s successor on Earth.

Before, Ninurta was Enlil’s successor only on NibiruEnlil’s successor on Earth had been Nannar, Enlil’s son with Sud. [Sitchin, Z., 1985, The Wars of Gods and Men, pages 95 -102].
Ninurta, now Enlil’s "Foremost Warrior," enforced Enlil’s rule over the entire system of gold extraction, processing, and transportation to Nibiru.

Marduk, however, sympathized with the Igigi complaint that made them revolt – no R&R facilities on Earth, infrequent rotations back to Nibiru, little elixer. "OK, Marduk," Enlil commanded, "Go to Mars and take command of the astronauts; do what you must so they obey me unconditionally. On Marsbury Anzu, improve conditions and boost morale among the Igigi."

[Sitchin, Z,. 2003, The Anunnaki Playing Playing Cards, 9 of Clubs]
* Sitchin shows that Ea, allied through his marriage to Alalu’s daughter Damkina and their son Marduk to the Alalu’s lineage (matrifiliated), was part of the plot. "It was with Ea’s connivance" that Anzu, kinsman of Alalu, is admitted to Enlil’s inner sanctuary for energy source crystals, vital computer chips, orbital data panels, and control buttons for Earth and Earth-Nibiru, Mars communication. Ea suggested Enlil entertain Anzu as a stall to responding to the demands of the Igigi.
Sitchin, in The 12th Planet had earlier said the role of Anzu in The Lost Book of Enki’s account of the revolt of the Igigi [pages 117 - 121] was actually the role of Nannar (Enlil’s son by his half-sister and legal wife, Sudwas Legal Heir on Earth. Nannar’s was a challenge to Ninurta (Enlil’s Firstborn and heir on Nibiru) to succeed to Enlil’s command of Earth. In The Wars of Gods and Men, too, Anzu, the leader of the revolt is a descendent of Alulu (his grandson); in this version Anzu’s an orphan adopted by the Mars Service, rather than Anzu the pilot who took Ea to Earth and stayed on Mars to die with Alalu [page 97].

Both Nannar and Ea would have benefited if Anzu vanquished Ninurta. But it was Nannar, not Ea, that Enlil exiled in the aftermath of the Igigi revolt. [The 12th Planet, pages 107 -116].

Anthropologists will recognize Enki’s description as a classical system of segmentary patrilineal (agnatic) lineages. In segmentary patrilineages, collateral lines (like those that descend from Ea and Enlil) cite alliance through different mothers to other royal patrilineages. The Ea lineage within the Anu clan, and especially the Marduk line of the Ea’s lineage, is allied with the Alalu clan for leverage against the Enlilites within the Anu clan). In anthropology, Marduk’s line is a matrifiliate of Alalu’s clan. Matrifiliated alliances give lineages external allies as they vie for precedence in authority within their patriclans.
** Sitchin, in The Wars of Gods and Men, 1985, page 97, says Ninurta’s mother was Sud, not Ninmah. Since The Lost Book of Enki is later, it’s probably correct, incorporating newer translations. Ninurta’s mother was Ninmah.

13 - Enki Foments Miners’ Mutiny Against Enlil

Our Story

Ninurta (shown above), Commander Enlil’s son and Heir-Apparent, put down an Astronaut Corps coup led by Anzu, a relative of Enki’s wife, Dakina and encouraged by Ninurta’s half-brother, Nannar.

To make sure Ninurta’s obeyed, Enlil gave him the IB missile, "a weapon with fifty killing heads."
[Sitchin, 1985, The Wars of Gods and Men, page 102]
Enlil (left) elevated Ninurta to Foremost Warrior, enforcing Enlil’s rule over gold extraction, processing, and transport of the gold to Nibiru.

Enlil forced Nannar and the rest of the Nibiran aristocracy on Earth to pledge loyalty to Ninurta. Then Enlil sent Nannar into exile. To make sure Ninurta’s obeyed, Enlil gave him a fifty-headed guided missile.

Enlil and Ninurta thus defeated the Astronauts, asserted their authority within the Enlil lineage and could now, with unmatched firepower from the multi-headed missiles, intimidate the Nibirans working the goldmines Enki was supposed to be supervising in Africa.

That catches you up; let us resume the Epic of Enki: 300,000 years ago, Earth’s climate warmed dramatically.
In Africa, Enki left mines to Foreman Ennugi and went North, to what’s now Zimbabwe. Enki and his son Ningizidda set up a lab for Earth Studies, especially homo erectus, a species Enki identified as due to evolve in a few million years into homo sapiens sapiens, the species of the Nibirans.

Apemen fascinated Enki, with their intelligence, but also with their compassion for other animals, which they freed from Enki’s traps.
Back at the African goldmining center, miners complained that Ennugi worked them too hard. Ennugi radioed Enki, who sympathized with the miners. He secretly coached them to entrap Commander Enlil and manipulate him to accept a plan he had for the apemen.

First, the miners drastically reduced their shipments of gold to Ninurta in Badtibira.

Enlil sent Ninurta to investigate and Enki returned to the mines. At the mines, Ninurta and Ennugi heard miner-complaints. The miners
"were backbiting and lamenting, in the excavations they were grumbling. ’Unbearable is the toil.’"

"Invite Enlil to the mines," Enki suggested to Ninurta, "let the Commander see how the miners suffer."
When Enlil and his Vizier, Nusku, arrived,
"’Let us unnerve Enlil’...mine-working heroes shouted. ’Of the heavy work let him relieve us. Let us proclaim war, with hostilities let us gain relief.’ To their tools they set fire, fire to their axes they put."
They held Mine Boss Ennugi hostage and, with tools as torches, surrounded the house Enlil occupied.

Enlil radioed Anu to shuttle to Earth and execute the miners’ leaders and their instigator (implying Enki). Anu arrived in Africa and conducted an inquiry. But no miner revealed leaders or instigator. Anu also sympathized with the miners, so Ninurta requested new miners from Nibiru and wanted better equipment.

Enki tells Ningishzidda,
"Let us create a Lulu, a primitive worker, the hardship to take over, let the Being the toil of the Anunnaki [astronaut-pioneers] carry on his back... The Being that we need, it already exists. All that we have to do is put on it the mark of our essence [ie, our genes], thereby a Lulu, a Primitive Worker shall be created!"
The Lost Book of Enki, pages 124 -127
Showing the apemen to Enlil and Ninurta, Enki said,
"Ningishziddha, my son, their fashioning essence [DNA structure] has tested; akin to ours it is, like two serpents it is entwined. When with our life essence shall be combined, our mark upon them shall be, a Primitive Worker shall be created.

Our commands will he understand. Our tools he will handle, the toil in the excavations he shall perform, to the Anunnaki in the Abuzu [Africa] relief shall come."
[Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki, page 130]

The research team.

Ningishzidda and Enki face Ninmah. She holds Adamu, the hybrid Nibiran/Homo Erectus they made. "My hands have made it! victoriously she shouted."

The critter’s cute and he and females they make enjoy sex. But the hybrids can’t breed yet. [From Sumerian cylinder seal (in Sitchin, Z., 1995, Divine Encounters, page 13)]

Our Story:
300, 000 years ago, Enki left his goldmines in Africa to study the nearby apemen, the Homo Erectus primates. While he was gone, the Nibiran miners stopped work. Enlil investigated. The miners surrounded him and demanded release from their harsh work.

Enki broke the impasse, to Enlil saying, ’From mining the heroes from Nibiru release and for their work Earthling apemen miners, shall we create with my reproducing essences and those of Ningishzidda and Ninmah.’

Enki, Earth’s Lord, showed the apemen to Enlil, Earth’s Commander and Ninurta, Enlil’s Foremost Warrior, says,
"Ningishziddha, my son, their fashioning essence [DNA structure] has tested; akin to ours it is, like two serpents it is entwined.
Enlil objected to Enki’s plan.
’Don’t create a Nibiran/Apeman slave class here on Earth,’ Enlil reminded Enki, "On our planet [Nibiru], slavery has long ago been abolished, tools are slaves, not other beings." [Sitchin, ibid.] Ninurta added that to get gold better, Enki should make machines, not slaves. Enki replied, ’Earthlings we’ll create will be "helpers," not slaves.’
Enlil still protested: hybrid cloning was forbidden in the Rules Of Planet To Planet Journeying. Enki’s response,
’the team won’t create a new species; Erectus is our the genetic ancestor. He evolves into us - Homo Sapiens, Sapiens - the humans of Nibiru; we’ll just speed him along a few million years.’ *
The brother rivals, Enki and Enlil, beamed their dispute to Anu and the Council on Nibiru.

Each brother had his say on whether Enki’s team should develop hybrid workers. Anu and the council ruled, "Gold must be obtained. Let the Being be fashioned! The Council decided....Forsake the Rules of Planetary Journeys, let Nibiru be saved." [Sitchin, op. cit., page 132]

The research team - Enki, Ninmah and Ningishziddha - created many combinations of apeman and other creatures (depicted in ancient art and tales as centaurs, sphinxes and gargoyles). [Sitchin, Z., 1990, Genesis Revisited: 164 -165]

Enki and Ningishzidda had intercourse with apewomen.

When no pregnancies followed, Enki and Ningishzidda used their seed to fertilize apewoman ova in test tubes and surgically implant the resultant zygotes in apewomen. But the hybrid babies born of the apewomen lacked vision, hand dexterity or internal functioning. Ninmah overcame some of the deficiencies when she added copper and clay of Earth to the hybrid zygotes’ lab environment.

Nimah and Enki created test-tube zygotes for primitive worker experiments [Sitchin, Z., The 12th Planet, page 352]. Even with her improvements, the resulting Earthling lacked speech capacity.

Enki implanted a test-tube-grown zygote formed from his sperm and an apewoman ovum in Ninmah’s womb, rather than the womb of an apewoman, to see if the baby Ninmah bore would speak.
"In the clay vessel the admixture they made, the oval of an Earth female with Anunnaki male essence they put together. The fertilized egg into the womb of Ninmah by Enki was inserted. There was conception.

"To a male child Ninmah birth was giving. Enki the boy child held in his hands, the image of perfection was he. He slapped the newborn on his hindparts; the newborn uttered proper sounds. " He could speak. "He handed the newborn to Ninmah. ’My hands have made it!’ victoriously she shouted."
[Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki, pages 138 -139.]
[Our ancestor were, by Enki’s account, the result of both evolution (Erectus had evolved in a million years from Australopithecinae) and creation by Enki, Ninmah and Ningishzidda. Evolutionists and Creationists are both--partially correct.]

The baby, Adamu [One Who’s Like Earth’s Clay], looked like a dark red blood-colored, black-haired Nibiru child in every way except his penis.
"They looked at its malehood; odd was its shape, by a skin was its forepart surrounded, unlike that of Anunnaki malehood it was. ’Let the Earthling from us Anunnaki by this foreskin be distinguished.’ So was Enki saying."
[Sitchin, op. cit. page 139]
Once she had Adamu, the prototype for the primitive worker, Ninmah sent for seven women from her Medical Corps in Shurubak to be womb-mothers to Adamu’s clones.
"’His essence alone as a mold shall be!,’ so was Enki saying."
[Sitchin, op. cit. page 141]
Ninmah assembled her volunteers, prepared the zygotes and pledged unity with the Earthlings they’d create.

Ninmah and Enki create test-tube zygotes for primitive worker experiments [Sitchin, Z., The 12th Planet, page 352]
"In seven vessels of the clay of Abzu made, Ninmah ovals of the two-legged females placed. The life essences of Adamu she extracted bit by bit in the vessels she it inserted.

Then in the malepart of Adamu an incision she made, a drop of blood to let out.
’Let this a Sign of Life be; that Flesh and Soul have combined let it forever proclaim.’
She squeezed the malepart for blood, one drop in each vessel to the admixture she added.
’In this clay’s admixture, Earthling with Anunnaki shall be bound. To a unity shall the two essences, one of Heaven, one of Earth, together be brought.’
In the wombs of the birth-giving heroines the fertilized ovals were inserted."
[Sitchin, ibid.]
To duplicate Adamu, Ninmah implanted test-tube hybrid zygotes from Erectus eggs fertilized by Nibiran sperm in the wombs of seven female astronauts from Ninmah’s Medical Corps.

All the resultant seven hybrids were male.

Ningishzidda created a zygote – Nibiran Ovum fertilized by Erectus sperm - to develop into a female hybrid who could breed. He implanted this zygote in Ninti, Enki’s spouse. The hybrid Ninti bore and Ninmah delivered by caesarian, was female, Ti-Amat [Mother of Life], a sandy-blonde.

Ningishizzida cloned Ti-Amat’s essence into seven test-tube zygotes. He planted them in the same Med Corpwomen who’d borne the hybrid males. All of the surrogate mothers carried female hybrids, again delivered by caesarian.

Ninmah objected. "Surrogacy to create hybrids is too hard on my girls, and can’t give caesarian birth to the numbers you need to work the mines."

Enki put the seven female and the eight male hybrids together. The hybrids copulated frequently, but the females didn’t conceive.

The astronauts laboring in the mines and the gold shuttle staff threatened mutiny if Enki and Ningishziddha failed to deliver enough of the promised workers to relieve them of manual labor. Under this pressure, Ningishziddha conducted research at Ninmah’s Medical Center in Shurubak.

Ningishziddha compared the genetic structure of breeding Nibirans and those of Adamu and Ti-Amat and found the genes in the Nibiran genotype that allowed reproduction.

When Ningishziddha compared genes of breeding Nibirans and the genes of Adamu and Ti-Amat, he found the loci on the Nibiran genotype that allowed reproduction. Nibiran females had a recessive XY chromomsomal allele in their genotype whereas Ti-Amat had only XX.

Ningishzidda anesthetized Enki, Ninmah and Ti-Amat. Then "from the rib of Enki the life essence he extracted; into the rib of Adamu the life essence he inserted. From the rib of Ninmah the life essence he extracted; into the rib of Ti-Amat the life essence he inserted. He proudly declared, ’To their Tree of Life two branches have been added, with procreating powers their life essences are now entwined.’" [Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki, page 148]

Enki, Ninmah and Ningishziddha kept their alteration of Ti-Amat secret and let her and Adamu wander in Enki’s orchard in the Edin, the mouth of the Persian Gulf, while she gestated. Ti-Amat made leaf-aprons for herself and Adamu.

Enlil noticed the aprons and demanded explanation. Enki confessed; Enlil was enraged. "The last bit of our life essence to these creatures you have given, to be like us in procreation knowing, perchance our [millions of years] life cycles on them to bestow."

"My lord Enlil," Ningishziddha was saying, "knowing for procreation they were given, the branch of Long Living, to their essence tree was not."

"Then let them be where they are needed," Enlil with anger said. "To the Abzu [Africa] away from the Edin, let them be expelled." [Sitchin, op. cit. page 149]

* Sitchin writes that Enki’s genetic team was speeding up hominid evolution that would have occurred anyway. "Modern man would have undoubtedly evolved on Earth just as he had done on Nibiru, both having come from the same ’seed of life.’ " Enki and company sped our evolution by one to forty million years. [Genesis Revisited, pages 165 -166]

15 - Nibiru Nearing Means Climate Crisis And Food Shortage on Earth, Marsbase Closing - Maruduk Fired, Enki Charged with Hybrid Management and Solving Food Shortage

Story So Far:
Spurred by mutiny of Nibirans toiling in the goldmines of Zimbabwe, Nibiru’s King Anu and his Council allowed Enki, Ninmah and Ningishzidda to graft Nibiran genes with Homo Erectus and clone Earthling workers to replace Nibiran goldminers.

After several unsuccessful attempts to create Earthling workers, the team implanted a zygote (female Erectus ovum fertilized in a test tube by male Nibiran sperm) in Ninmah’s womb. She delivered the child, named it Adamu.

To duplicate Adamu, Ninmah implanted test-tube hybrid zygotes from Erectus eggs fertilized by Nibiran sperm in the wombs of seven female astronauts from her Medical Corps. All the resultant seven hybrids were male.

Ningishzidda then created a zygote to develop into a female hybrid. He implanted this zygote into Enki’s spouse. Ninti carried the fetus, who emerged as Ti-Amat, a sandy-blonde female. Ningishizzida cloned Ti-Amat’s essence into test-tube zygotes and implanted them in the same seven Med Corps women who bore the hybrid males. All of the surrogate mothers carried female hybrids, again delivered by caesarian. The seven female and the eight male hybrids were put together. They copulated frequently, but the females did not conceive.

Ningishzidda discovered the genes in the Nibiran genotype that allow reproduction. "From the rib of Enki the life essence he extracted; into the rib of Adamu the life essence he inserted. From the rib of Ninmah the life essence he extracted; into the rib of Ti-Amat the life essence he inserted." [Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki, page 148]

Enki, Ninmah and Ningishziddha concealed the fact that they’d genetically changed Ti-Amat so she could reproduce. Ti-Amat and Adamu wandered in Enki’s orchard at the head of the Persian Gulf while her fetus, the first bred from hybids, grew inside her.

Enlil discovered Ti-Amat’s pregnant. He was enraged, realizing the hybrid's could henceforth breed among themselves. Enki’s team had exceeded its mandate to make workers. He, Enlil, Commander of the Mission, did not authorize Enki’s team to create a new species.

Enlil rebuked Ningishziddha. But Ningishziddha said he withheld the Nibiran longevity gene from the hybrids. Enlil appealed to the Council on Nibiru, but the Nibiran Council, desperate for the new primitive workers to mine Earth’s gold to save Nibiru’s atmosphere, ratified breeding hybrids.

Enlil angrily expelled Ti-Amat, Adamu and the seven hybrid males back to Zimbabwe to breed as miners.

In Zimbabwe, Enki located his hybrids in a forest enclosure, where Ti-Amat bore the twins she conceived with Adamu. She bore other children who interbred and multiplied till they took over the work in the goldmines.

In a few thousand years, "the Earthlings were proliferating.... To be with the Anunnaki [Nibiran astronauts] they were eager, for food rations they toiled well. Of heat and dust they did not complain, of backbreaking they did not grumble. Of hardships of work the Anunnaki were relieved. The vital gold to Nibiru was coming, Nibiru’s atmosphere was slowly healing."

Nibiru, recall, revolves around the Sun every 3,600 years in a long elliptical clockwise orbit. When Nibiru’ was closest to the Sun (perigee), Nibiru was close enough to Earth for her rockets to easily visit Earth. But Nibiru caused disturbances in the inner solar system whenever it orbited near the sun.

One of Nibiru’s orbital nearings to the Sun created atmospheric and geothermal disturbances on Earth and Mars. King Anu visited Earth from Nibiru and inspected damage.

The King decided to end transshipment of gold from Mars. His decision favored the Enlil lineage - sons of Enlil and their children - over the Enki lineage. In ending gold transfer on Mars deprived Marduk, Enki’s son and heir, of his realm on Mars.

Further favoring Enlil’s lineage, King Anu awarded rule of new spaceport (from which the gold was to be directly rocketed to Nibiru) at Sippar to Enlil’s son’s son Utu (the first Earth-born Nibiran).

Sympathizing deeply with his son, Enki pledged that Marduk will one day rule Earth.

Anu ruled, Mining and shipping from Earth must continue till, when finished are a few cycles of Nibiru around the sun, completed shall be the gold shield for Nibiru’s atmosphere. Then, by my rule, must the heroes on Earth return to Nibiru. Labor of the proliferating Earthlings in Africa our leaders on Earth must use for excavation, transport, refining and support.

But after forty orbit nearings [144,000 years, forty perigees] of the homeplanet, most of the Nibirans in Mesopotamia - but not their boss, Enlil - wanted Earthlings to work for them too.

Ninurta, Enlil’s eldest son and fifty of his men raided Africa and caught Earthlings for their orchards and cities. Enlil let them have and breed the slaves for now, since all Nibirans would, he believed, soon leave Earth anyway.

Ninurta and Earthling Servant
[Sitchin, Z., 1878, The 12th Planet page 106]

The hybrids in the Edin proliferated and, in addition to slaving for the Nibirans, foraged all over Mesopotamia. Nude, the hybrids cavorted and copulated everywhere.

The large numbers of hybrids, after awhile, exhausted their own food supply and created food shortages for the Nibirans of Mesopotamia as well. This exacerbated Enlil’s anger at Enki for creating the fertile hybrids. He demanded Enki do something to solve the food crisis his genetic meddling produced.

In response, Enki said he’d introduce plants and domestic animals for the hybrids to tend. But Enki kept to himself a plan he’d concocted to upgrade hybrid intelligence.

For his secret plan, he’d lend more of his own genes.

Story So Far:
Hybrid Earthling slaves proliferated in Enki’s Africa and, as their numbers grew, were re-introduced to Mesopotamia, there to labor for the Nibiran lords. But Nibiru’s approach created climate degeneration and the hybrids foraged for food and exacerbated food shortages precipitated by the climate change.

To alleviate the shortages, Enki planned, in a most delightful way, to uplevel the hybrids’ intelligence. With enhanced intelligence, Earthlings could tend plants and domestic animals.

Narrative Resumes:

In his African reserve, "Enki in the marshlands looked about. With him was only Ismud, his vizier, who secrets kept.
"On the river’s bank, frolicking Earthlings he noticed; two females among them were wild with beauty, firm were their breasts. Their sight the phallus of Enki caused to water, a burning desire he had.

"A young one to him Enki called, a tree fruit she offered him. Enki bent down, the young one he embraced, on her lips he kissed her. Sweet were her lips, firm with ripeness were her breasts. Into her womb she took the holy semen, by the semen of the Enki she was impregnated." Enki then made love with the second young hybrid [Sitchin, Z., 2002 The Lost Book of Enki, pages 167 -168] .

The Story:
Enki secretly impregnated two of his Erectus/Nibiran descendents. One of these bore a boy, Adapa; the other, a girl--Titi. Enki hid his paternity of Adapa and Titi.

Narrative Resumes:

Adapa and his sister Titi mated; Titi bore twins, Ka-in and Abael.

Enki raised Adapa, educating him as the son he was (albeit clandestine). Enki taught Adapa plantation, herd and estate management. Then Enki brought more Earthlings from Africa to Mesopotamia and had Adapa train them to serve the Nibiran colonists.

Adapa became "a busybody, in charge of the services for which the primitive workers were brought over to the Edin"; he supervised the bakers, assured water supplies, oversaw the fishing for Eridu [Enki’s estate on the Persian Gulf] and tended offerings" [Sitchin, Z., 1995, Divine Encounters, page 51].

Adapa begged Enki to give him the substances of Nibiru to allow him, like the Nibirans, to live for hundreds of thousands of years.

Enki used a device similar to the U.S.’s
HAARP laser batteries to halt the wind that blows up the Gulf from the South so Adapa could, on a south-sailing vessel, voyage secretly down the Persian Gulf.

Tales of Adapa’s brilliance had already reached King Anu on Nibiru. When he heard that Enki manipulated Gulf weather to send Adapa on his mysterious voyage, Anu sent his vizier Ilabrat to Earth to fetch Adapa to Nibiru.

Complying, Enki also sent his two unmarried Earth-born sons, Ningishzidda and Dumuzi, with Adapa to Nibiru to meet their grandfather, King Anu, and perhaps find Nibiran brides.

On Nibiru, Anu questioned Adapa about the craft and the mission he’d been on when Enki halted the Gulf wind back on Earth.

Ningishzidda, who’d taken DNA samples from Adapa and knew Adapa must be his nephew, the son of Enki, slipped Grandfather Anu a sealed tablet from Enki. In the tablet, Enki confessed fathering Adapa and Titi with Earthling hybrids and asked Anu to send Adapa back to Earth to generate more hybrids, to father more Civilized Man.

Enki’s tablet asked Anu to deny Adapa food or elixir – the Bread of Life and the Water of Life – that would make Adapa and his progeny immortal. The Earthlings, an unprecedented new civilized species were, Anu realized, his genetic descendents via his son Enki; denying them immortality would keep them quarantined on Earth a long time.

King Anu gave Ningishzidda grain seeds for Earth and told him to take the seeds and Adapa back to Earth. The King told Ningishzidda to become Adapa’s tutor and work with Enki. "You and Enki, Ningishzidda, shall be the teachers of Civilized Man."

Anu ordered Dumuzi to stay on Nibiru and learn domestic animal husbandry till Nibiru next approached Earth (in one shar--3,600 years). When Nibiru neared the Inner Solar System again, Dumuzi would return to Earth with female goats and sheep and a sperm bank for them. [Sitchin, Z., 1995, Divine Encounters, pages 49 - 65; 2002, The Lost Book of Enki: 173 -174]

Story So Far:Enki had son Ningishzidda/Thoth, who accompanied his hybrid brother Adapa to Nibiru, slip King Anu a tablet. On the tablet, Enki confessed that he’d mated with Hybrid Earthlings who bore Adapa and Titi.

The tablet asked that Anu deny Adapa immortality and instead return him to Earth to breed a more intelligent servant race than that descended from the earlier Hybrid, Adamu (who had more Homo-rectus genes than Adapa).

Ningishzidda returned to Earth with Adapa and with seeds for Adapa’s son Ka-in to plant. Anu ordered Ningishzidda and Enki to tutor Ka-in and Adapa’s descendants.

Anu kept Ningishzidda’s brother Dumuzi on Nibiru, learning animal husbandry to teach Ka-in’s twin, Abael, when Dumuzi rocketed back to Earth at the time Nibiru again approached Earth. Dumuzi was to convey knowledge as well as female goats, sheep and a sperm bank for these animals for Abael to manage. [Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki:170]

Narrative ResumesNingishzidda rocketed back to Earth with Adapa and grain seeds. Ningishzidda was to prepare for Dumuzi’s return next time Nibiru approached Earth, in 3,600 Earth years.

But Ningishzidda’s elder brother, Marduk, Enki’s eldest son, took charge of Abael and the animal husbandry project. Livestock Dumuzi brought was to be a project of the Enki lineage.

Enlil insisted that his own eldest son and Foremost Warrior, Ninurta, tutor Ka-in in farming. Agriculture on Earth, augmented by the grain seeds Ningishzidda brought from Nibiru, was to be a project of the Enlil lineage.

At a "Celebration for Firsts, " Ka-in, guided by Ninurta, presented a sample of his first grain. Abael, guided by Marduk, presented his first lambs to Enlil and to Enki. Though Enki was both maternal and paternal grandfather of twins Ka-in and Abael, he made much of Abael’s offering and the meat and wool that would soon be available, but said nothing of Ka-in’s offering of grain, for Ka-in has been co-opted by Ninurta.

Ka-in became sullen. "By the lack of Enki’s blessing greatly was he aggrieved"

The twins quarreled for an entire winter about whose contribution – Ka-in’s grains and fish-abundant irrigation canals or Abael’s meat and wool - contributed most.
"When summer began, it was not raining, the meadows were dry, the pastures dwindled. Into the fields of his brother Abael his flocks drove, from the furrows and canals to drink water. By this Ka-in was angered."
The twins fought with fists till Ka-in bludgeoned Abael with a stone, then sat and sobbed. [Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki, page 183- 184].

Enki brought his grandson, Ka-in, to Eridu to be judged by The Seven Who Judge (Enlil, Ninki, Ninurta and Nannar from Enlil’s Lineage, Ninmah, and Enki, Ninti and Marduk from Enki’s).

Marduk, Abael’s mentor, demanded the Judges order Ka-in - protege of his rival Ninurta - executed. But Marduk’s father Enki told Marduk that he, Enki, was Ka-in’s grandfather, so Ka-in was Marduk’s grandnephew. Enki told Marduk that Ka-in’s survival was critical to generate genetically superior Earthling laborers for field, pasture and mines "If Ka-in too shall be extinguished, satiation [of food supplies] to an end would come, mutinies will be repeated."

The Seven ruled "Eastward to a land of wandering for his evil deed Ka-in must depart". Ka-in and "his generations shall be distinguished."

By Ningishzidda was the life essence [genotype] of Ka-in altered: his face a beard could not grow*** .....With his sister Awan as a spouse Ka-in from the Edin departed." [Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki, pages 186 - 187]. They wandered in the wilderness to the east.

When Adapa was on his deathbed, Ninurta fetched Ka-in to Edin in his rocketship.
"The eyesight of Adapa having failed, for recognition of his sons’ faces he touched. The face of Ka-in was beardless" Adapa told Ka-in, "For your sin of your birthright you are deprived, but of your seed seven nations will come. In a realm set apart they shall thrive, distant lands they shall inhabit. But having your brother with a stone killed, by a stone will be your end."
Ninurta returned Ka-in to the wilds east of Edin where,
"in a distant realm Ka-in had sons and daughters" Ninurta, "for them a city built, and as he was building, by a falling stone was he [Ka-in] killed. "
(Sitchin, Z., 1985, The Wars of Gods and Men [page 112] suggests this might have been a murder rather than accident.)
Ka-in’s survivors planted grain.

They founded and ruled the city of Nud [also called Dun, Dunnu and Nu.dun]. Ka-in’s successors for the next four generations were murdered by their sons. For the next three generations after that, each ruler of Nud ascended to rule after marrying his sister and murdering his parents.

Ka-in’s son’s son’s son (great grandson), Enoch, who succeeded Ka-in in the fourth generation of Ka-in’s descendants, married two of his own sisters, Adah and Zillah. One of Adah’s sons, Jabal, and his followers lived in tents and raised cattle. Jabal’s brother Jubal, begat a line of musicians who played lyre and flute music.

Lamech’s other wife, Zillah, bore Tubal-Cain, who was a smith, "an artificer of gold, copper and iron." [Sitchin, Z., 1885, The Wars of Gods and Men pages111 -112; 2002, The Lost Book of Enki:, pages 181-193].

Adapa left behind the descendants of thirty sons and thirty daughters he and Titi begat.

The Nibiran colonists divided these genetic descendants of Enki among them as protégés and taught them writing, mathematics, well-digging, body oil preparation, harp and flute mastery and the preparation of elixir of the Inbu fruits. The hybrids whom the Nibirans taught each identified with their respective Nibiran teachers.

Adapa’s descendants were also taught how to use bitumens for furnaces for gold smelting and refining.

Enlil’s son, Nannar, taught the Hybrids ceremonies to worship their Nibiran lords. "Of the rites of worship of the Anunnaki [Those who from Sky Descended, i.e., Nibirans] that the beginning was."

Enki taught astronomy to one of his hybrid descendants, Enkime. Enki’s son Marduk rocketed Enkime to the Moon and Marsbase, then sent him to the spaceport at Sippar, to be Prince of Earthlings under Nannar’s son, Utu/Shamash, who was in charge there.

Lu-Mach, a descendant of Enkime, was appointed workmaster of the Earthlings in Edin, "the quotas to enforce, the rations to reduce." But "in his days conditions on Earth became harsher; the toilers in field and meadow raised complaints" [Sitchin, Z., 1885, The Wars of Gods and Men pages 111 -112; 2002, The Lost Book of Enki:, pages 188-193].

*** Thus marking the lineage ancestral to some Asians and the Indians of the Western Hemisphere.

Story Thus Far:

The Seven Who Judge banished hybrid Adapa’s eldest son and his beardless descendants east of Edin, to Nod, where Ninurta taught them metallurgy, cattle herding, lyre, flute.

The Nibiran nobles in Iraq/Summer taught Adapa’s other descendants administration, writing, math, well-digging, harping, healing oil oreoaration, brewing, gold-smelting, refining and ceremonies venerating the Nibirans.

Narrative Resumes:

Climatic, magnetic and astronomical disruptions damaged Marsbase and forced the Anunnaki leaders, Enki, Ninmah and Enlil, to meet.

Face-to-face, they saw each other’s wrinkling visages and worried that they, unlike the other colonists who rotated from Nibiru, were aging. Enki observed "Old on Earth we became, but those on Earth born are even older sooner."

To deal with the celestial crisis, the leaders sent Ninurta, the son of Enlil and Ninmah,
"to the Land Beyond the Seas [Andes?] in the mountainland a Bond Heaven-Earth [transmission tower] to establish."
They sent Ninurta’s rival, Enki’s son Marduk, to evaluate damage at Mars base. The leaders told the rulers of South Africa, Enki’s son Nergal and Nergal’s wife Ereshkigal (Enlil’s son Nannar/Sin’s daughter) to run new instruments at Africa’s south tip [Cape Agulhas?] to monitor the space and Earth disturbances. [Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki: 195]

Marduk told his parents he wanted to marry an Earthling, Sarpanit, daughter of Marduk’s Earthling protégé, Enkime (a descendant of Enki’s partially-Earthling son, Adapa). Marduk’s mother, Ninti, warned Marduk that if he married Sarpanit,
"to Nibiru with his spouse he would never go. His princely rights on Nibiru he forever will forsake. To this Marduk with a bitter laugh responded: My rights on Nibiru are nonexistent. Even on Earth my rights as firstborn have been trampled" [by Enlil and his heir, Ninurta, who were given Earth commands].
Marduk vowed to become master of Earth.

Furious at Marduk, Enlil beamed Anu on Nibiru stop Marduk and Sarpanit from marrying. But Anu and his counselors ruled, "On Nibiru Adapa, the maiden’s progenitor could not stay. Therefore to return to Nibiru with her, Marduk must forever be be barred. Marduk marry can, but on Nibiru a prince he shall no more be."

Enlil let Marduk and Sarpanit announce their wedding at Eridu, Enki’s place on the Persian Gulf. However, Enlil also ordered that Marduk and Sarpnit, after their wedding would be banished to Egypt (which would henceforth be Marduk’s own domain), within Enki’s sphere of influence (Abzu/Africa).

"A great multitude of Civilized Earthlings in Eridu assembled,.... Young Anunnaki [Nibiran Colonists and their pure progeny], Igigi from Lahmu [Mars] in great numbers came" [Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki: 198 - 199], using Marduk’s wedding as an opportunity to assemble as part of their plan to capture brides of their own.

An ancient coin shows the Landing Platform in Lebanon where Igigi Astronauts hold captive Adapite brides.
(On ancient coin) from Sitchin, Z., 1978, The 12th Planet, page 141
200 Igigi - astronauts - occupied the landing platform in Lebanon (the Cedar Mountains), then flew to Edin and mixed with the crowd of Adapa’s descendants and Nibiran colonists at Marduk’s wedding.

After the ceremony, each astronaut seized one Earthling maiden. They took the 200 women back to Lebanon and,
"into a stronghold the place they made, to the leaders a challenge they issued...’The Adapite daughters to marry we wish. Your blessing to this you must give, else by fire all on Earth destroy we will.’ "
[Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki: 201]
Marduk, who commanded the Igigi, championed their abduction marriages.

Enlil fumed;
"In his heart things against Marduk and his Earthlings was Enlil plotting."
Marduk settled some of the Igigi and their half-Nibiran, half-Adapite issue ("Children of the Rocketships" they were called") in Babylon; he and Sarpanit stayed with other Igigi in Lebanon.

By 100,000 years ago, some of these "Children of the Rocketships," allied with Marduk, settled in "the far eastlands, lands of high mountains." [Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki: 202; 1985, The Wars of Gods and Men: 346]

Enlil ordered his successor Ninurta to counter the spread of Marduk’s Earthlings.
"’The Earth by Earthlings inherited will be,’ Enlil to Ninurta said. ’Go, the offspring of Ka-in find, with them a domain of your own prepare’"
To counter Marduk’s threat, Ninurta recruited the descendants of Ka-in.

He showed them how to build balsam rafts. They crossed the seas to the Western Hemisphere, where Ninurta taught them tin and gold mining, smelting and refining. [Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki: 203]

Story So Far:
Marduk and Ninurta, patrilateral parallel cousins, cultivated clients from among the Hybrid Earthlings descended from Adapa. The cousins, each the apparent next leader of the Enkiite and Enlilite lineages (respectively), recruited these clients to rule large numbers of Earthlings who could supply armies and exert force where needed.

As his son recruited among the descendants of Ka-in, Enlil planned to let climate changes kill all the Hybrids.
Narrative Resumes:
Enki lusted for Batanash, wife of his son Adapa’s descendant, Lu-Mach, Workmaster of Earthlings in Edin. Enlil had ordered Lu-Mach to enforce work quotas and reduce rations for the Earthlings he directed. The Earthlings grumbled and threatened Lu-Mach.

So Enki sent Lu-March to Marduk in Babylon to learn city-building and sent Batanash to Ninmah at the Medical/Science complex of Shurubak, "from the angry Earthling masses protected and safe to be. Thereafter Enki his sister Ninmah in Shurubak was quick to visit.

On the roof of a dwelling where Batanash was bathing Enki by her loins took hold, he kissed her, his semen into her womb he poured." From this encounter, she bore Ziusudra (Noah).

When Lu-Mach returned to Edin, "to him Batanash the son showed. White as the snow his skin was.... Like the skies were his eyes, in a brilliance his eyes were shining." Lu-Mach complained, "A son unlike an Earthling to Batanash was born.... Is one of the Igigi [astronauts] his father?" Batanash swore "None of the Igigi is the boy’s father." Lu-Mach’s father Matushal assured him Ziusudra was destined to help Earhlings survive the Ice Age Earth was entering.

Ninmah loved and cared for Ziusudra; Enki taught him to read Adapa’s writings.

But drought, plague and starvation stalked the Earthlings
[Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki: 204 -205]. Enki and Ninmah proposed teaching Earthlings medicine for plague, sea-fishing as well as pond - and canal - building for drought and famine.

Enlil (Yahweh), however, was still enraged at Enki for creating the Earthling hybrids. Enlil was also furious at Enki’s son Marduk, who was recruiting the hybrid line descended from the daughters of Adapa whom the astronauts had abducted at Marduk’s wedding to the Earthling Sarpanit. Marduk was conditioning this hybrid population to serve him for the time when he and the astronauts who had taken hybrid women must remain on Earth, the time when enough gold had been sent to Nibiru to shield the homeplanet’s atmosphere and the other Nibirans would return home. So Enlil forbade any help for the Earthlings. "Let the Earthlings by hunger and pestilence perish," decreed Enlil. To speed the demise of the Earthlings, Enlil specifically ordered Enki to block Earthlings’ access to ocean fish.

The Earthlings at Shurubak, where Ziusudra lived under Enki and Ninmah’s tutelage, sent Ziusudra to Enki at Edin for help. Enki suggested the Earthlings protest Enlil’s anti-Earthling policy and boycott worship of and service to their Nibiran lords, but said he couldn’t openly ignore Enlil’s order and help the Earthlings.

Covertly, however, Enki fed Earthlings from his corn stores, trained them in sea fishing and gave them access to the sea. When Enlil accused Enki of defying his decree that humans be allowed to perish, Enki lied. He said the humans acted without his knowledge. Frustrated, Enlil planned for the final destruction of Earthlings and the end to Nibiran occupation of Earth
[Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki: 206; 1978, The 12th Planet, pages 292 -294].

Each 3,600 year revolution of Nibiru to the region of Solaris created ever more violent disturbances on Nibiru, the Sun (huge solar flares) Mars (Lahmu) and Earth. On Earth, Enki’s son Nergal reported from the south tip of Africa that the Antarctic ice sheet was sliding to the ocean and would, next approach of Nibiru, slide into the sea and cause wave reverberations that would engulf most of Earth.

21 - Galzu Keeps Nibiran Leaders On Mission Earth
The Story:
Enlil planned to let the hybrid Earthlings Enki created -- a species created in violation of interplanetary law -- drown when, next time Nibiru neared Earth and the Antarctic Icesheet would slip into the sea, inundating all Earth except great peaks. Then, Enlil calculated, the Nibiran gold-mining operations on Earth would end and the Nibirans could return to Nibiru.
Narrative Resumes:
Anu and the Counsel on Nibiru beamed Earth: "’For evacuating Earth and Lahmu prepare.’ In the Abzu [Zimbabwe] the gold mines shut down; therefrom the Anunnaki [colonists on Earth from Nibiru] to the Edin came; ... smelting and refining ceased, all gold to Nibiru was lofted. Empty, for evacuating ready, a fleet of celestial chariots [interplanetary spaceships] to Earth returned." One spaceship brought the mysterious white-haired Galzu (Great Knower) with a sealed message from Anu to Enki, Enlil and Ninmah
[Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki: 208].
"Enlil the seal of Anu examined; unbroken and authentic it was, its encoding trustworthy. ’For King and Council Galzu speaks, his words are my commands.’ So did the message of Anu state. ’I amGalzu, Emissary Plenipotentiary of King and Council, to Enlil,’" he said.

Plenipotentiary Galzu summonsed Enlil’s elder sister and brother, Ninmah and Enki. Galzu told Ninmah, "’Of the same school and age we are.’ This Ninmah could not recall: the emissary was as young as a son, she was as his olden mother." Galzu told Ninmah she aged and he hadn’t because she’d been so long on Earth. She and her brothers had been on Earth so long that they’d die if they returned to Nibiru, where their bodies could not survive the homeplanet’s netforce.

"The three of you on Earth will remain; only to die to Nibiru you will return." Ninmah and her brothers must orbit Earth in their rockets when the Antarctic ice sheet slipped into the ocean and waves washed over the planet. When the waters calmed, the Leaders were to return to Earththe only place they could survive.

King Anu’s order continued, "To each of the other Anunnaki, a choice to leave or the calamity outwait must be given. The Igigi [astronauts] who Earthlings espoused must between departure and spouses choose. No EarthlingMarduk’s Sarpanit included, to Nibiru to journey is allowed. For all who stay and what happens see, in celestial chariots they safety must seek."
[Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki: 209 - 211].
Enlil convened the Anunnaki Council, which consisted of the Leaders’ sons and grandchildren and the Igigi commanders. He said he decided the Earthlings must drown in the deluge.

Enki protested, "’A wonderous Being by us was created, by us saved it must be,’ Enki to Enlil shouted."

Enlil roared back, "’To Primitive Workers you gave to them knowing you endowed. The powers of the Creator of All into your hands you have taken. With fornication Adapa you conceived , Understanding to his line you gave. His offspring to the heavens you have taken, our wisdom with them you shared. Every rule you have broken, decisions and commands you ignored. Because of you a Civilized Earthling brother [Abael] a brother [Ka-in] murdered. Because of Marduk your son the Igigi like him with Earthlings intermarried.’"

Enlil demanded Enki and all swear not to tell the Earthlings of the impending inundation. Enki refused; he and Marduk stamped out of the Council. But Enki was still reluctant to openly defy Enlil, who, after all, had drawn command of Earth Mission
[Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki: 212 -214].
Enlil brought the Council back to order. Astronauts with Adapite wives and children, he decreed, must move to the peaks above wave level. When the deluge engulfed Earth, repatriating colonists would rocket to Nibiru. "Enki, Ninmah, and I -- as well as our sons, daughters and their descendants -- will orbit Earth till the Earthlings drown and the waters recede." Marduk was to shelter on Mars base; Enlil’s son Nannar would wait out Earth’s flood on the moon
[Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki: 230].
In preparation for the flood, Enki and Ninmah buried their records and computer programs deep in the Iraqi soil. They prepared genetic banks of Earth’s creatures to save from coming flood. "Male and female essences and life-eggs they collected, of each kind two by two ... they collected for safekeeping while in Earth circuit to be taken, thereafter the living kinds to recombine. The day of the deluge they waited."
[Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki: 216].

The Story:
Enlil, Earth’s Nibiran Commander, convened the Anunnaki Council, the leaders’ sons and grandchildren and the Igigi astronaut commanders. He ordered all to hide news of the coming flood from the Earthlings who, he ruled, must drown. Astronauts with Adapite wives and descendants must flee to peaks above the waters. "Colonists will repatriate to Nibiru while Enki, Ninmah and I orbit around Earth with our children and grandchildren till the Earthlings all die in the flood."Narrative Resumes:
Enki dreamed Galzu spoke "’Into your hands Fate take, for the Earthlings the Earth inherit. Summon your son Ziusudra, without breaking the oath [swearing not to tell humans] to him the coming calamity reveal. A boat that the watery avalanche can withstand, a submersible one, to build him tell, the likes of which on this tablet to you I am showing. Let him in it save himself and his kinfolk and the seed of all that is useful, be it plant or animal, also take. That is the will of the Creator of All.’"

Enki woke and pondered his dream. When he got out of bed, much to his amazement, he kicked an actual tablet -- where none had been before he slept -- next to his bed. He searched his home and grounds for Galzu but Galzu’s was not there, nor had anyone seen him, except Enki, in the dream. The appearance of the tablet -- a physical object -- following a dream or trance encounter with a representative of a higher power -- Galzu in this instance -- is what Sitchin calls a Twightlight Zone miracle.

"That night to the reed hut where Ziusudra was sleeping Enki stealthily went. The oath not breaking, the lord Enki not to Ziusudra but to the hut’s wall [computer bank?] spoke from behind the reed wall.

When Ziusudra by the words was awakened, to him Enki said, "Reed hut, a calamitous storm will sweep, the destruction of Mankind it will be. This is the decision of the assembly by Enlil convened.

of the Flood.
Galzu guides Enki’s arm to convey tablet
(possibly a computer or holo disk. The disk is shown leaving Enki’s hand en route to Ziasudra’s computer)
[Drawing from Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki: page 194, but interpretation mine.]
" ’Abandon thy house, Ziusudra build a boat. Its design and measurements on a tablet.... A boatguide [Enki’s son, Ninagal] to you will come. To a safe haven the boatguide will navigate you. By you shall the seed of Civilized Man survive. Not to you Ziusudra, have I spoken, but to the reed wall did I speak.’" [Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki: abridged from pages 220 -222]
13,000 years ago, "in the Whiteland, at the Earth’s bottom, off its foundation, the [Antarctic] icesheet slipped. By Nibiru’s netforce it was pulled into the south sea. A tidal wave arose, northward spreading.
Depiction of Ziusudra’s submersible
[Sitchin, Z., 1995, Divine Encounters, page 95.]
The boat of Ziusudra the tidal wave from its moorings lifted. Though completely submerged, not a drop of water into it did enter. For forty days, waves and storms swept Earth, downing everything on the planet except those on mountaintops and in Ziusudra’s boat[Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki: abridged from page 227].

Enki’s and Enlil’s whirlwind/hovercraft
Surfacing, Ninagal raised sail and steered to Mt Arrata, where Ziusudra built a huge fire as a signal and roasted lamb as an offering to Enki. Enki andEnlil descended in helicopters (Whirlwinds) from their rocketships.
"When Enlil the survivors saw, Ningal among them, "‘Every Earthling had to perish’, he with fury shouted’; at Enki with anger he lunged, to kill his brother with bare hands he was ready." Ningal radioed Ninmah and Ninurta to bring their copters down quick.

"‘He is no mere mortal, my son he is,’ Enki to Ziusudra pointing. ‘To a reed wall I spoke, not Ziusudra.’ "

Enki, joined by Ninmah and Ninurta, revealed his dream vision. He told Enlil of the instructions and tablet Galzu gave him.

Together, Enki, Ninurta and Nimah convinced Enlil "The survival of mankind the will of the Creator of All must be."
[Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki: abridged from pages 228 - 229].

The Story:
Enlil wanted to kill Enki for defying his order to let the hybrid earthlings perish with the Deluge caused by the passage of home planet Nibiru through the inner Solar System and the resulting plunge of the Antarctic ice sheet into the South Sea. When Commander Enlil descended to Mt Ararat as the Deluge subsided and he first saw Ziusudra and Enki’s son Ningal and the sub they used to survive (and to also save Ziasudra’s descendants, his village, and genetic starts for flora and fauna), Enlil was so angry he challenged Enki to fight to the death hand to hand. Enki admitted that he’d fathered Ziasudra. Ninmah, Ninurta and Enki then convinced Enlil that Galzu had facilitated the will of the Creator of All when he gave Enki the plans for the sub and strategy to save the hybrids.Narrative Resumes:
The flood waters from the deluge, 13,000 years ago, receded; they left the uplands intact. The waters had totally carried away the Nibiran settlements and buried Mesopotamia and the goldmines in Africa under silt and mud. Of the Anunnaki settlements, only the raised stone Landing Place at Baalbek, Lebanon, was intact; their spaceport at Sippar was totally gone.

Enlil summonsed to the Landing Place the Nibirans who survived the flood on the Earth’s peaks and the astronauts in spacecraft orbiting the planet. He also called in his son Nannar from his refuge on the Moon and Enki’s son Marduk from his refuge on Mars.

Marduk reported: "Lahmu [Marsby the passage of Nibiru was devastated. Its atmosphere was sucked out, its waters evaporated, a place of dust storms it is." Nannar reported the Moon was only usable with Eagle Masks [helmets].

The survivors opened the vault beneath the Landing Platform, unlocked the diorite chests there, and found intact the grain seeds Nibiru had sent to introduce to Earth. Enlil put his heir and champion,Ninurta in charge of creating an irrigation system in Mesopotamia for the grain. Enki, in his genetics lab, doubled, tripled and quadrupled the chromosomes of the grain from Nibiru they’d been using on Earth
[Sitchin, Z., 1985 The Wars of Gods And Men, p124]. Enlil assigned Ziasudra’s son as Ninurta’s foreman to supervise the hybrid survivors dam and terrace building as well as provision of bread.

Enlil charged Adad/Ishkur, his youngest son, with surveying the fruit trees that survived the flood. Adad found the grapes brought by Ninmah from Nibiru had survived, and the Hybrids resumed grape growing for both white and red wine.

Enki’s son Ninagal, who’d piloted Ziusudra’s submersible, revealed the genetic starts Enki and Ninmah had stowed aboard. Ninagal said, "The life essences and life eggs, in the four-legged animals from Ziusudra’s boat can be combined. Sheep for wool and meat will multiply, cattle for milk and hides will all have." Enki bade his son Dumuzi (assisted by Ziusudra’s middle son) shepherd the livestock. Enki and Ninagal engineered a system of dams and sluices to regulate the Nile to create a pastureland for Dumuzi’s herds.

The passage of Nibiru through the Inner Solar system not only damaged Earth and Mars; it also ripped away the shield of gold dust the Nibirans had shipped to the mother planetNibiru’s atmosphere was again dwindling and gold from Earth was desperately needed on Nibiru. But in Africa, not only were the mines buried in mud, but the hundreds of Nibiran miners had been evacuated back to Nibiru and the thousands of hybrid miners had been drowned in the deluge. The gold refinery at Bad-Tibira was gone, as was the rocket terminal at Sippar in Mesopotamia. Ninurta came to the rescue.

Ninurta prospected huge gold finds of pure gold, needing no refining, in Peru, where, he also found, descendents of Ka-in had survived the great flood on rafts and now lived on an island in Lake Titicaca. Abundant gold was now available to send to Nibiru. Enlil selected the Saudi Arabian peninsula for a new interplanetary freighter rocket terminal site to ferry the gold to the home planet.

Story So Far:
From 10,500 to 7,000 years ago, Reclaiming Earth after the Deluge, the Nibiran Goldmining Mission rebuilt Mesopotamia (modern Iraq) with Adapite Hybrids ruled by the Enlil clan through Ziusudra’s sons Shem and Japheth.
Narrative Resumes:
THE NEW SPACEPORT (“Place of the Celestial Chariots”) in Sinai Enki’s son Ningizidda/Thoth (using Nibiran power tools that still exceed the capacity our 2005AD tools to cut and transport stones)built two pyramids in Egypt. The larger pyramid, the Great Pyramid, was to be the southwestern marker of a line extending from Mt. Ararat in Eastern Turkey, running through the landing platform atBaalbek in Lebanon and ending at this Great Pyramid on the Nile. The first, smaller, pyramid Ningishzidda had built was a scale model of the Great one. The Great Pyramid was to contain Nibirans’ master computer programs and astronavigational equipment. Enki induced Enlil to authorize a monument to Ningishzidda for designing the pyramids:
“Let us beside the twin peaks a monument create, the Age of the Lion to announce. The image of Ningishzidda, the peaks’ designer, let its face be. Let it precisely toward the Place of Celestial Chariots gaze.”
[Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki, page 238]
The actual Spaceport was to be run by Enlil’s son’s son, Utu. The Spaceport was on the 30th parallel, the line of division between the realms of Lineage Enlil North of the parallel and the realms ofLineage Enki, South of the 30th. In the Great PyramidEnki’s son Gibil installed pulsating crystals and a capstone of electrum, to reflect a beam that marked the western edge of the runway line fromArarat to Tilmun for incoming spacecraft. The eastern edge of the rocket runway corridor was Mt Katherine, at the southern tip of the Sinai. Mission Control itself was to be on Mount Moriah (the future Jerusalem), off-limits to Earthlings.

Marduk, who’d been disinherited as future king of Nibiru for marrying an Earthling and who’d lost his command of Marsbase when the perigee of Nibiru had sucked off the Martian atmosphere some 500 years before, protested the glory given his younger brother Ningishzidda and the authority given Utu of the Enlilites. “Marduk to his father Enki words of aggrievement said, ‘To dominate the whole Earth to me did you promise. Now command and glory to others are granted, without task or dominion I am left’” [ibid, page 238].

Enki’s other sons as well as Enki’s Champion, Ninurta, and his brothers in the Enlil Lineage also demanded “lands for themselves and devoted Earthlings.”

Ninmah, ever the peace-maker, proposed all these Royals be given lands and Earthling followers. Ninmah, as daughter of Nibiru’s King Anu, mother of Ninurta and mother of Enki’s daughters as well, was awarded control of the entire Sinai — Tilmun (Land of Missiles), as it was called, as neutral ground between the two lineages. Lands east of Sinai were allotted Enlil and his descendants, supported by Ziusudra’s sons Shem and Japheth and their descendants. Africa was awarded Enki and his lineage, supported by Ziasudra’s son Ham and his descendants. Enki appointed Marduk ruler of Egypt, with Earthling supporters too. Ninurta built Ninmah a palace on Mt Moriah. When she was installed as “Ninharsag, Mistress of the Mountainhead,” Nibiran whirlbirds began lofting Peru’s gold nuggets to the Sinai for transport to Niburu to resume shielding the home planet’s atmosphere with gold dust.

Story So Far:
Enki got Enlil to authorize Ningishzidda’s face on the Sphinx. Ningishzidda’s brother Marduk and Marduk’s rival Ninurta both protested. Enlil awarded vast estates and Earthling subjects to the Nibiran Royals. He assigned Ninmah, as neutral peacemaker, control of Sinai, where she would dwell and separate the Enlil and Enki lineages. Enlil allotted lands east of Sinai to his own descendants, supported by Adapite descendants of Ziusudra’s sons Shem and Japheth. Enlil gave Enki and his descendants Egypt and Africa, supported by the line of Ziasudra’s son Ham.

The Civilized Workers (as Adapite Hybrids were now called) were in great demand as laborers for their Nibiran lordsIgigiAstronaut Corps; again whildbirded Peru’s gold nuggets to the Sinai to rocket to Niburu for the homeplanet’s shieldFor 300 years, peace prevailed on Earth.

Narrative Resumes:
Enki moved to Elephantine (AbuIsland near Aswan (Syene). From Abu, he supervised workers building dams, dykes and tunnels to control the Nile’s flow to the Mediterranean. 9,780 years ago,Enki, now called Ptah, gave son Marduk, now called Ra, rule of Egypt and the workers there. [Sitchin, Z., 1985, The Wars of Gods and Men, page 38; See The Lost Book of Enki pages 242 - 248]

Earlier, during the Great Deluge of 13, 000 years ago, Marduk, his Adapite wife, Sarpanit and their sons, Asar (Osiris) and Satu (Seth) sheltered on Marsbase with the Igigi Commnader, Shamgaz. Marduk’s boys, Asar and Satu, married Shamgaz’s girls, Asra (Isis)
* and Nebat (Nephys). Shamgaz formed a close friendship with Satu [Sitchin, Z., 2002 The Lost Book of Enki pages 243 244].

Asar and Asra settled near Marduk in the northern lowlands of Lower Egypt. Satu and Nebat settled in the mountains of southern Upper Egypt, near the villa of Shamgaz and the Landing Platform in Lebanon. Shamgaz and his daughter Nebat lobbied Satu. They convinced Satu that he and the Igigi Astronauts had no chance of good land on Earth. Asar, Shamgaz argued, living near Marduk, would succeed to rule of the fertile lower Nile area, leaving only Upper Egypt to Satu and his Igigi friends. Satu, Nebat and Shamgaz decided to assassinate Asar.

Shamgaz and Satu invited Asar to an Astronaut and Royals banquet honoring, Aso, Ethiopia’s visiting Queen. Shamgaz drugged Asar’s wine, and when Asar fell unconscious, sealed him in a coffin which they threw in the sea. Word of Asar’s murder reached Asta, Sarpanit and Marduk. They retrieved Asar’s coffin from the sea. Satu declared himself, as the sole surviving son of Marduk, to now be the ruler of both Upper and Lower Egypt. Marduk wanted to kill Satu for killing his brother, but Enki forbade this. Instead, Enki had Asta extract semen from Asar’s corpse and impregnated herself with it.

Announcing her pregnancy, Asta disputed Satu’s claim to Lower Egypt. She went into hiding and bore Horon (Horus), whom she raised to fight Satu and avenge Asar. Shamgaz and the Astronauts ignored Asta. The Astronauts spread their estates and Earthlings armies from Lebanon all the way to the borders of Ninmah neutral Jerusalem region and the Interplanetary Landing Zone, The Place of Celestial Chariots.

Meanwhile, in Upper Egypt, Marduk’s brother Gibil tutored Horon to manhood. Gibil taught Horon how to pilot aircraft and fashioned multi-headed missiles for him and taught him and his Earthlings how to smelt iron and make iron weapons for his Earthling army – all to ready Horon to defeat Satu. Fully armed, Horon’s army marched on Sinai. Rather than face Horon’s better weaponed army, Satuchallenged Horon to a one-to-one a real battle.

As Horon flew his fighter toward Satu, Satu struck him with a poisoned dart but Ningishzidda administered an antidote and gave Horon a blinding weapon. In a far-ranging aerial battle, Horon hit Satuwith the blinding weapon, then with a harpoon. Blind, Satu crashed, his testicles squashed; Horon bond him and dragged him before the Council, which decided to let him live out his life, without the life-extension treatmentamong the Astronaut Corps.
* Sitchin, in The Wars of Gods and Men, page 41, relates that Plutarch’s version of this tale has Marduk’s brother Ningishzidda (Thoth, Hermes) as the secret father of Asra.

Story So Far:
The principals of Enki’s lineage, in their competition among themselves, had transferred much advanced technology to their Earthling minions. Marduk, Enki’s eldest son, married to the Adapite EarthlingSarpanit, forged an alliance with the Astronaut Corps (Igigi). Following Marduk’s example, the Igigi took Earthling women and captured the Landing Place in Lebanon, and in 8970 B.C., in the name of Marduk’s son Satu, were advancing on the Spaceport in Sinai. Gibil, another of Enki’s sons, had taught Earthlings commanded by Marduk’s grandson Horon to make iron weapons.

Narrative Resumes:
Enlil and his sons, Ninurta, Nannar and Adad, saw the command of the gold mining expedition and control of Earth, which they felt should be theirs alone, threatened by Marduk and the Earthlings led by the descendants of Enki, particularly Marduk, his sons and his grandsons.

Enlil and his sons feared the Enlilites would control Earth’s space facilities and thus the flow of gold from Earth to Nibiru. If Marduk and his allies had such control, they would be able to hold both Earth and Nibiru in their power. Enlil and his clan would not even be able to escape Earth when the mining there was done, if Marduk and his allies controlled space travel and communication with the home planet.

To counter this, they sent Ninurta to secretly build a communications center next to Lake TiticacaNinurta built also a spaceport on the plains next to the Andes. "From there" Ninurta reported, "gold shipments to Nibiru can continue, from there in need we too can ascend"
[Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki, 1976, The 12th Planet, pages 248 -249
27 - Marduk foils marriage of Enlillite Inanna & Enkiite Dumuzi

Inanna’s Background:
Rulers of Nibiru and Earth pampered Inanna, who, as a child, was called Irnini. She, in later years, was known also as Ishtar, Ashtoreth, Annutitum, Aphrodite, Athena, Venus, Eshdar, Innin, Ninni,Kali and Shakti.

"Inanna by her parents Nannar and Ningal was beloved. Enlil [Her Grandfather] by her cradle sat. Beautiful beyond describing she was, in martial arts with Anunnaki heroes [Nibirans on Earth] she competed. A skyship of her own, to roam Earth’s skies, to her the Anunnaki presented."
[The Lost Book of Enki, Sitchin, 2002:250] Inanna and brother Ute, twins of Nannar (Enlil’s second son), were both Nibirans born on Earth.

Inanna and her twin were long-lived like homeplanet Niburans. But the Earthborns matured faster. "Who on Nibiru in diapers would still be, on Earth became a child; Who on Nibiru began to crawl, when on Earth born was running around."
 [Sitchin 2002:152]

Dumuzi’s Background:
Dumuzi, also Earthborn, was Enki’s youngest son, born after Ningishzidda and Gibil. Dumuzi had accompanied Ningishzidda and their Hybrid half-brother, Adapa, to Nibiru. Dumuzi brought sheep and goats to Earth from Nibiru. After the deluge receded, Enki put Dumuzi in charge of Africa’s domestic herds and the humans tending them. He became Enki’s favorite son. Marduk, Enki’s eldest, felt jealous.

Narrative Resumes:
"After the Deluge, on the Landing Platform [Lebanon], Dumuzi and Inanna their eyes on each other set. Hesitant at first they were, he of Enki’s clan, she of Enlil an offspring [son’s daughter]."

Elders of both clans were delighted, they could heal their deadly rivalry with a royal marriage between Dumuzi and Inanna, the darlings of clan heads Enlil and Enki. “‘Perchance the espousing peace between the clans truly will bring!’ Enlil to them all did say. “
[Sitchin 2002:152]
Marduk sent his sister Geshtinanna to Inanna. “To her Inanna what was in her heart revealed, ‘A vision of a great nation I have. As a Great Anunnaki Dumuzi there will rise. His queen-spouse I shall be. To Dumuzi I will status give, the country I will rightly direct.’ Inanna’s visions of rulership and glory by Geshtinanna to her brother Marduk were reported. By Inanna’s ambitions Marduk was greatly disturbed; to Gestinanna a secret plan he said.”
[Sitchin 2002:152]
Marduk had Geshinanna seduce Dumuzi. She told Dumuzi, “Before you your young wife in your embrace will sleep, a legitimate heir, by a sister born, you must have" [ie, keeping succession within the Enki clan]. Inanna’s son to succession shall not be entitled.

After she’d received his ejaculate, Gestinanna panicked Dumuzi, telling him, “Marduk of raping me will accuse you, evil emissaries to arrest you he will send. To try you and disgrace you he will order, the liaison with an Enlilite to disunite.”

Dumuzi, bereft at Geshianna’s betrayal, fled to hide behind a waterfall but slipped into the rapids and drown
[Sitchin 2002:153].

28 - Inanna Revived Defeats Enkiites; Ninurta, Not Marduk to Next Rule Earth
Story So Far
Around 8670 BC, a marriage between Inanna, Enlil’s son’s daughter and Enki’s son Dumuzi, meant to bring the feuding Enki and Enlil clans to peace is foiled by Enki’s eldest son, Marduk, who gets his sister Geshtinanna to seduce Dumuzi so he can accuse Dumuzi of rape and prevent Inanna from power in the Enkiite turf–Africa, Egypt, the Seas. Dumuzi flees to hide behind a waterfall but drowns.

Narrative Resumes
Dumuzi’s brother Ninagal retrieved Dumuzi’s body from Lake Victoria and brought it to their brother Nergal and his wife, Erishkigal (Inanna’s sister) in South Africa. Inanna flew to her sister’s place.

Erishkigal believed Inanna was pursuing levirate, whereby Inanna, as widow of Nergal’s brother Dumuzi, would bare a male child with Nergal to inherit the status as a ruler in Africa, as Dumuzi’s queen. Ereshkigal thought Inanna would try through such a child with Nergal to usurp the power she and Nergal had in Africa. “Of scheming an heir by Nirgal, Dumuzi’s brother, Inanna was accused”
[ Sitchin, Z.,The Lost Book of Enki, 2002:255].

When Inanna arrived at Ereshkigal and Nergal’s place, Erkishkigal barred her entry. Inanna forced her way in, but Ereshkigal disarmed her hung her on a stake to die.

And die Inanna did. But “from clay of the Abzu [Africa] Enki two emissaries fashioned, beings without blood, by death rays unharmed, to lower Abzu he sent them, Inanna to bring back. Upon the corpse the clay emissaries a Pulser and an Emitter directed, then the Water of Life on her they sprinkled, in her mouth, the plant of life they placed. Then the dead Inanna arose”
[ Sitchin, Z.,The Lost Book of Enki, 2002:255].

Inanna brought Dumuzi’s body back to Mesopotamia and had it mummified, to rise on a “Final Day” and rejoin her bodily. Sitchin identifies Inanna’s mummification celebration as both a way of her dealing with her grief and also as part of a move by Astronauts to preserve the myth of the latter’s immortality. Astronauts were actually just very long-living, compared to Earthlings; one Earth year equals 3, 600 years on the homeplanet, Nibiru
[The Cosmic Code, pages 90, 96].

Inanna led the Enlilites to war against Marduk for instigating Dumuzi’s death. Though Marduk’s brothers Ningishzidda and Nergal declined to defend him, his other brothers, Ninigal and Gibil, fatherEnki and Marduk’s grandson, Horon, joined Marduk and his Astronaut Service (Igigi) allies fighting the Enlilites. Inanna’s brother Utu held off the Igigi in Sinai, and Marduk retreated before a massive aerial onslaught by Inanna and Enlil’s sons, Ninurta and Ishkur/Adad into the beacon pyramid [Giza].
“Let the slow death, by alive being buried, be Marduk’s sentence! Inanna her consent gave. Each one of them one stone for plugging slid down, Marduk as in a tomb to seal” [ Sitchin, Z.,The Lost Book of Enki, 2002:255].
Enki brought Sarpanit, Marduk’s Hybrid wife – their young son Nabu in hand, and Inanna’s father Nannar and brother Utu to plead for Marduk’s life. Sarpanit prostrated herself before Inanna, begging her to spare Marduk. “Appeased not was Inanna. For the death of my beloved Dumuzi, the Instigator must die,’ Inanna retorted.

Ninharsag brought her feuding brothers, Enki and Enlil into the confrontation between Sarpanit and Inanna. Ninharsag proposed exiling Marduk and appointing Ninurtaher son with Enlil, in Marduk’s place as successor to the rule of Earth. Enlil awarded Egypt to Thoth, but Inanna objected.

Egypt, said Inanna, should be hers. “To the heritage of Dumuzi, her deceased bridegroom, did Inanna lay claim. A dominion of her own she of Enki and Enlil demanded”

The Anunnaki: The Seven Great Gods

“Those Who From Heaven to Earth Came”
“The Shining Ones”

Revised 20 June 2012

This page is about the Anunnaki and is one of the most popular. My guess is that many visiting this site arrive here first. If this describes you then you should read the introduction first to get a better understanding of what this page and all the other pages on this site are about. You need a context to understand the historical significance of this subject -

what modern historians/archaeologists/paleontologists consider as myth. It is not myth. The Anunnaki are a result of an unrecognized prehistorical event. The introduction will also help you understand who the Nephilim are. They too, as the Anunnaki, are a result of certain events in prehistory - deep into the Paleolithic. Legends of the existence of the Anunnaki and Nephilim are true but quite different than you might assume. The link to the Introduction page is at the bottom of this page. If you are familiar with this web site then some of the following will be repetitious.

Who are the Anunnaki Exactly?

For those who are unfamiliar as to who are the Anunnaki the following is a brief definition. The Anunnaki are the pantheon of Sumerian gods. Depending where you get your information and what epics are being referenced the total number varies with Enoch giving the number of 200 which is the number the Urania Book gives as well which includes the human associates who were modified to be sustained by the Tree of Life. The ones most important are the seven great gods as pictured above. It is mainly these seven that comprise most of the Sumerian epics. The pantheon of "gods" in the above description is the most broad description but fails to explain who and what they were. The Anunnaki were real and just as the Sumerians wrote they did come from a place we call heaven. The Sumerians were writing/documenting their own history for they are directly connected to the Anunnaki. There are a lot of sites devoted to the legend of these Anunnaki. Almost all of it is myth. First are the Sitchen sites and how the Anunnaki came from Nibiru. Then there are the believers that the Anunnaki are from a reptilian race (a reference to the Winged Serpent?) or have something to do with UFOs all of which is pure fantasy. The Anunnaki grew out of the legend of the Caligastia 100 and the Lucifer rebellion. One tipoff is the fact that they were a council with a leader (An). A very earthly arrangement that reflects a heavenly one and one they would have been very well aware of and fashioned themselves after:

"God's heavenly council was made up of angelic servants often called “sons of God” (Job 1:6; Job 2:1).
God sent these servants from the council from time to time to do His bidding (Job 1-2).
For Jeremiah the sign of false prophets was that they had not “stood in the counsel of the Lord” (Jeremiah 23:18).

The Caligastia 100 are the original Anunnaki whose mission was to teach early man the ways of civilization. You can find a reference to this statement in the Book of Jubilees as noted elsewhere on this web site (Lucifer). Jubilees uses the term Watchers which is also the Biblical term for the Anunnaki. This is what the Sumerian statement refers to that civilization was a "gift from the gods". And like just about everything else the Sumerians wrote about, it is true. At that time the Anunnaki were the government of the planet. Their authority was divine. This is also why the statement that "kingship descended from heaven" was Sumerian as well. Then came the Lucifer rebellion, that "war in heaven". And it is because of this event that there was a split among the ranks of the Anunnaki with some considered as "good" and some considered as "bad". Those who are the "bad" Anunnaki are the ones who were the progenitors of the Nephilim.

The Sumerian stories about all of this prehistory for the most part uses the main and most important seven sages to tell these epics. These "gods" play different roles in these stories, roles which may not be accurate. But the stories themselves are. What I find interesting is that many of these stories are about Adam and Eve (Eve mostly), the Tree of Life and Eden. They too are a part of the Anunnaki and just like the Caligastia 100 they came from heaven. The Sumerian account of civilization coming from heaven is true even though it includes two different divine regimes. Adam and Eve came well after the rebellion and they were the new planetary government. The statement "kingship descended from heaven" is much more appropriate to Adam and Eve than the much older Caligastia 100. The Edenic influence could be considered greater than the older participants because one, the stature of Adam and Eve and the stronger of the two, the closer proximity on the time line to us of Eden vs. the original 100. We are talking about extreme lengths of time which is a major contributor to the confusion regarding the interpretation of these so-called myths. For example the division between Enlil and Enki. Both knew each other at the time of their arrival. In the Sumerian story of the flood they are in conflict. The story of the flood is true, there was a great flood and described as a "world flood" which in reality it was not, only to be mistakenly identified as such much later. But neither role of these two opposing forces is true because they were no longer around at the time of the flood. Enlil, who was Nod, was less than dust by this time and Enki, who was Van, had returned long ago to where he came from. But that does not negate the story itself that to the Sumerians there was a world flood - as far as they were concerned. Who would have thought that the Sumerians created the first Hollywood using the same actors in different roles to tell different stories?

The "canonization" of the Anunnaki is well after the establishment of the second garden. The council of the Sumerian Anunnaki was not entirely ancient Anunnaki, that is, Nodite - of the fallen although there is a very strong Nodite influence. It includes the Adamic and Vanite and points to, I think, it's Andite roots. The Andites appear at about 25,000 BC. Their bloodline includes both Adamic and Nodite. They may even be the "smarter humans" created by Ninhursag. They were smarter. By 3,000 BC the Adamite and Nodite bloodlines were quite blended and the stories about the Anunnaki reflect both cultures.

And now onto the players. The following definitions for the individual Anunnaki are my personal take on these great gods. You will not find these definitions anywhere else but here.

The Anunnaki as Real People

If you have done any research you certainly would have run across the observation of just how humanlike these "gods" were. And that would be accurate. In the epics rather than being God like they have their arguments, disagreements, affairs, trickery, revenge and the like. Definitely not the behavior you would expect. The Anunnaki of the 100 were at one time mortals and hardly perfect. Some of their foibles were known and incorporated into the epics. These imperfections were often used to make a point and the choice of who does what is closer than you think. Only in a couple of instances that I can think of (involving Enki) is the wrong "actor" used. But not knowing the true point of some of these stories I could be wrong.

"Fundamental to anything regarding the Sumerians are their gods and goddesses, whom as a group they called the Anunnaki (literally, “those who from heaven to earth came”). As in any later pantheon, the Anunnaki consisted of a number of very different personalities, that clashed with each other often and in an enormous variety of ways. While their very distinct personalities can be used to establish Archetypes, all of the evidence suggests that the Anunnaki were historical figures and not mythological.
The Sumerian Family Tree, in fact, distinguishes between those Gods and Goddesses who were born on earth (the new generation) and those born in heaven. The Sumerian texts also describe the Epic of Creation (of which Genesis is a condensed version), as well as a continuing semi-sibling rivalry between Enki and Enlil, their offspring, and those humans who voluntarily or otherwise began the process of choosing up sides."

"Laurence Gardner [2] has written: “Every item of written and pictorial attestation confirms that the ancient Sumerians were absolutely sincere about the existence of the Anunnaki, and those such as Enki, Enlil, Nin-khursag and Inanna fulfilled earthly functions with designated community duties. They were patrons and founders; they were teachers and justices; they were technologists and kingmakers. They were jointly and severally venerated as archons and masters, but there were certainly not idols of religious worship as the ritualistic gods of subsequent cultures became. In fact, the word which was eventually translated to become ‘worship’ was avod, which meant quite simply, ‘work’. The Anunnaki presence may baffle historians, their language may confuse linguists and their advanced techniques may bewilder scientists, but to dismiss them is foolish. The Sumerians have themselves told us precisely who the Anunnaki were, and neither history nor science can prove otherwise.” "

"For over a millennium, about 5000 years ago, there was one dominant and unchanging belief in what we would today call a religion. In this ancient time religion and culture were identical. The leaders and rulers of men were described as being in intimate contact with the "gods," who were collectively known as Anunaki. The growing dictionary of words and meanings that was being compiled by the translations of the Nippur fragments quickly hinted to something extraordinary. That the ancient "gods" took their name from "Anu," meaning heaven, and "ki," which means earth. Literally, they were "those who came from heaven to earth.""

The following personal definitions are really too brief but they should give you an idea of the personality behind the name.

An - Angelic/Rebel
As based on a pre-historical figure, most likely Caligastia the now defunct and dysfunctional ex-Planetary Prince. At the time of the rebellion he was proclaimed by his subordinate as "God of Urantia and supreme over all." (Urantia Book p755)
An is at the top as a creator god of the Sumerian pantheon but he is more like a retired god and may be the prototype for El. Distant in the affairs of humankind.
No home town. AKA Anu, Anus and the father of the gods
His palace is at the top in the heavens of the axis mundi.

Enlil - Watcher/Rebel
As based on a pre-historical figure, most likely Nod namesake to the "land of Nod" east of Eden. One of the leaders in the 100 (the commission on industry and trade). Most often second in command but also older half brother to Enki. Not the most popular god around as he is the one responsible for the Sumerian flood to wipe out the noisy humans. In some epics he is responsible for the mes. Marduk, a younger upstart Babylonian god, wrested the axis mundi from Enlil to his own temple Esagil at Babylon. According to Babylonian epics Marduk is Enki's son. Sweet.
Home town is Nippur at one time the spiritual center of Sumeria. AKA Ellil and the king of the Anunnaki/Lord of the Sky
His palace is in the middle of the axis mundi.

Enki - Watcher/Loyalist
As based on a pre-historical figure, most likely Van as in the Kingdom of Van and Lake Van. One of the leaders in the 100 (the supreme court of tribal co-ordination and racial co-operation). Like Enlil he was deemed the keeper of the mes which are the declarations of civilization. A popular god who saved humanity from the Sumerian flood and other disasters. Although titled Lord of the Earth he is associated with sweet water as opposed to salt water.
Home town is Eridu the first Sumerian city. AKA Ea and the Lord of the Earth
His palace is in the abyss at the bottom of the axis mundi.
Read more on Van as Enki on the page Van.

Inanna - Adamic/Loyalist
As based on a pre-historical figure, most likely Eve. Sometimes referred to as the Earth Goddess. As a "late comer" she may have been grafted onto an earlier version of the Goddess if one existed. Origin of the Earth Goddess is not certain but may date from deep into the Paleolithic. Despite her lower status within the Anunnaki pantheon she wields great power. Her strongest associations are with the sacred tree, the serpent and the bestower of kingship. She was also a very popular goddess.
Home town is Erech/Uruk (along with Gilgamesh). AKA Ishtar and the Goddess of Love and War and the Queen of Heaven
Read more on Eve as Inanna on the page The Tree of Life.

Utu - Adamic/Loyalist
As based on a pre-historical figure, most likely Adam. As Genesis states Adam was an agriculturalist. As Utu the Sun god he has many roles which include agriculture. Like his "sister" Inanna he too is of a lower rank. This may be due to the lateness of their arrival after the rebellion with An, Enlil and Enki being far older gods with their standings within the 100 or the fact that Adam and Eve are not Nodite. However, they were superhuman planetary rulers, connected with Enki and thus their importance to the Sumerian pantheon.
Home town probably none as he was always rising in the east and setting in the west. AKA Shamash and the god of justice
Read more on the symbolic connection of Adam as Utu and Eve as Inanna on the page The Sun and Rosette

Nanna - Nodite?/Aboriginal?/Semetic
As based on a pre-historical figure, unknown but is male. May have been included within the pantheon due to the importance to the hunter/gatherers. Would have had an ancient tradition prior to agriculture. "Before Dilmun existed, palm trees grew in my city" so says Nanna in the Sumerian epic The Journey of Nanna to Nippur. May have kept power because he was a lunar marker of religious feasts/festivals (Easter partly follows the lunar calendar). In the Sumerian texts he is the father of Inanna and Utu. Associated with Astrology because of his connection to the lunar calendar and cycle. He was very powerful.
Home towns Ur and Harran. AKA Sin and as the Lord of Wisdom

Ninhursag - Watcher?/Nodite?
As based on a pre-historical figure, unknown. She could be one of the oldest goddesses as she personifies the earth as Ki at the time of creation. Her symbol is an omega shape that represents the uterus (the womb of creation). In the epic Enki and Ninmah (Ninmah asNinhursag) they try to create the first humans from clay. Her interactions with Enki may have more to do with Dilmun than with Eden.
Home town unknown but could be Kish. AKA Aruru and the mother of the gods

In the later Babylonian epics these gods have their counterparts plus the god Marduk who is the Swiss army knife of all gods. He does it all. He creates the world by defeating Tiamat, he creates the first humans, dethrones a top Sumerian god and declares Babylon as the center of the world. Not bad. The following quotes have a semblance to the situation at the time of the rebellion, in particular that of Nod so it could be a retelling of that story when after they had chosen up sides.

"The sixty members of the planetary staff who went into rebellion chose Nod as their leader. They worked wholeheartedly for the rebel Prince but soon discovered that they were deprived of the sustenance of the system life circuits. They awakened to the fact that they had been degraded to the status of mortal beings. They were indeed superhuman but, at the same time, material and mortal." (Urantia Book p 757)
"Enoch elaborates with the leading Watcher, Semjaza, in fear of receiving all blame for their passions:
Semjaza, who was their leader, said unto them: “I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.” And they all answered him and said: “Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.” Then sware they all together and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it." ( Enoch 6:4-7)

"Thus freed from all burdens [Marduk created man as their slave], the gods wanted to show their gratitude to Marduk, and as a token they took, of their own free will, for one last time, spade in hand to build Babylon and Marduk's temple Esagila. In the new temple the gods then assembled and distributed the celestial and terrestrial offices. The "great gods" went into session and permanently appointed the "seven gods of destinies," or better "of the decrees," who would formulate in final form the decrees enacted by the assembly." (From the Myth of Atrahasis)

"Marduk then announced his intention of building a city for himself, Babylon, with room for the gods when they come there for assembly. His fathers suggested that they move to Babylon themselves to be with him and help in the administration of the world he had created. Next, he pardoned the gods who had sided with Tiamat and had been captured, charging them with the building tasks. Grateful for their lives, they prostrated themselves before him, hailed him as king, and promised to do the building."

The Reigns of the First Kings
The reign of the first Sumerian kings are exceeding long a length that can only be called superhuman. "After the kingship descended from heaven, the kingship was in Eridu." This statement is from the Sumerian kings list. The first king was Alulim and he ruled for 28,800 years. But his was not the longest kingship as Enmen-lu-ana ruled for 43,200 years. It is because of these unbelievable long reigns that scholars do not put any credence into these dates. There are 19 total known kings lists and they do not match exactly. Not all kings that are known are on the list. Some kings are on some lists and not others. The Sumerian kings list relates numerically to the Biblical list of the patriarchs but differ enough that the Biblical list most likely was not copied from the Sumerian list. In fact it seems just the reverse. The antediluvian portion was written after the postdiluvian list. The extremely long lives of the earliest kings could be attributed to a scribe who mistakenly calculated the time line in the sexagesimal rather than the decimal notation. This is the current speculation. Zecharia Sitchen quotes 450,000 years for the arrival of the Anunnaki. It is most likely that the figure of 450,000 years is from one of the kings list. The one I looked at tallied 400,000 years. Here's what the Urantia Book says on this subject:

"... This lengthening of the reigns of these older kings signifies that some of the early Nodite rulers (immediate descendants of the Prince's staff) did live longer than their later-day successors and also indicates an effort to stretch the dynasties back to Dalamatia.
The records of such long-lived individuals are also due to the confusion of months and years as time periods. This may also be observed in the Biblical genealogy of Abraham and in the early records of the Chinese. The confusion of the twenty-eight-day month, or season, with the later introduced year of more than three hundred and fifty days is responsible for the traditions of such long human lives." (Urantia Book p. 857-8)

Dalamatia the first city built on the earth dates back to about 500,000 years ago. It was destroyed by a tidal wave from the Persian Gulf. At 400,000 years ago it would have existed.

"And all of this explains how the Sumerians appeared so suddenly and mysteriously on the stage of action in Mesopotamia. Investigators will never be able to trace out and follow these tribes back to the beginning of the Sumerians, who had their origin two hundred thousand years ago after the submergence of Dalamatia. Without a trace of origin elsewhere in the world, these ancient tribes suddenly loom upon the horizon of civilization with a full-grown and superior culture, embracing temples, metalwork, agriculture, animals, pottery, weaving, commercial law, civil codes, religious ceremonial, and an old system of writing. At the beginning of the historical era they had long since lost the alphabet of Dalamatia, having adopted the peculiar writing system originating in Dilmun. The Sumerian language, though virtually lost to the world, was not Semitic; it had much in common with the so-called Aryan tongue." (Urantia Book p 860)

The Patriarchs
The Biblical antediluvian patriarchs were all from Mesopotamia. They are: Adam, Seth, Enos, Cainan, Mahaleel, Jared, Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech and Noah. These are the ten generations between the expulsion from the garden to the bringing of the flood - according to the Biblical record. Since these patriarchs lived in southern Mesopotamia they would have been exposed to the Sumerian stories of the flood, creation of the world, babe in the reeds, tower of Babel, the creation of humans from clay, the Land of Nod, the Nephilim and of course the Anunnaki. Coupled with that was the fact of the Jewish internment in Babylon after their capture and deportation by King Nebuchadnezzar. They too would have been exposed to these same legends. Just a thought.

The Flood
There are five cities "before the flood" listed in the kings list. They are Eridu, Bad-Tibira, Larak, Sippar and Shuruppak. Eridu is listed as Sumeria's first city. Considering how conscientious and proud the Nodites were of their past history, Eridu most likely was their first city and that goes as well for the other four being the group of five first cities. Two locations however are in question and those are Bad-Tibira (aka Badgurgurru) and Larak which some archaeologists think is Larsa. But archaeologists have determined by the best of their abilities that the locations on the map below are correct. Click on it for a larger view. Some though do not think these cities have been located. In keeping with tradition these five cities were supposedly rebuilt over the foundations of the older cities. We still do this today. Eridu is regarded as the first city built by man. Shuruppak is the home town of Ziusudra who we know as Noah. These five cities are also chronicled in the "Eridu Genesis", that kingship descends from heaven and it describes the flood.

When surmising about the Nodite heritage there are some conclusions I have arrived at. First, the original 100 were well versed with the tools of civilization. When they arrived their mission was to help early man become civilized and they did work for this goal for an extremely long time. The rebellion destroyed almost all of their efforts but they still had the knowledge and skills within their culture. Second, the rebellion did not erase those memories of who they were and where they came from. If anything, in realizing their now mortality, they instilled that desire of remembrance for their former glory deep into their culture. It has been said that they (the Sumerians) "walked backward into the future" meaning they never forgot their past. For instance, Dilmun as the place of the garden for the gods was Dalamatia and is one marker for the memory that stretches back easily more than 200,000 years. As far as the kings list goes with the extraordinary length of kingly reigns they did in fact place it on the time line when Dalamatia existed. But I think this was just a lucky coincidence based on the fact that they were confused on the length of the year. But it is ironic that they were correct. The reign of kings when totaled does reach back to the age of Dalamatia. However, it also makes Eridu 400,000 years old. I doubt that.

Third, the Sumerians also wrote about the Garden of Eden with its sacred tree - another ancient memory and fairly accurate. The goddess Inanna had a holy garden in which a sacred tree was planted and from which she received her bed and throne, symbols of her power to grant kingship. It was cut down by Gilgamesh who in his epic searched for the plant of immortality. The Sumerians also mention the Plain of Eden later to be known as the Plain of Babylon. So the Sumerian cuneiform tablets contain much very ancient "history". The story of the flood is so powerful that it divides their history into two parts. Writing occurred just after the flood if you accept 5000 BC as this date (see below). Therefore, I think, is why the five pre-flood cities were known and mentioned. Given this part of Sumerian history we can only guess what else was kept alive and that seems to be the manifested "from out of nowhere" knowledge, creativity and inventiveness of these so suddenly appearing Sumerians.

The flood story is Mesopotamian. There is much historical data that floods, some severe, happened in Mesopotamia with the result that the first writings described them. Anyone who has looked at the current pictures of Iraq will see it is flat as a pancake. So you have a flat alluvial plain with two great rivers running through it. Both rivers have their origin in the northern mountains and fed by melting snows and rain. Historians do not know exactly when the great flood occurred but some estimate that it could have been some time around 5000 BC. This is a very good guess considering our present day knowledge of climate change. Consider the following:

"The Würm ice-age made its last attack around 8000 BCE. The geological epoch starting then is called Holocene. Within a fairly short time (of order 1000 year) the world climate is basically the same as nowadays, with fluctuations on a large time scale. Recovery to normal temperature after an ice age is generally fast. It was even warmer and wetter than it ever has been since. The optimum of the warm and wet period (called Atlanticum, one of the subdivisions of the Holocene) is around 5000 BCE. It is the era in which England becomes an island again and northern Europe changes in marshland by the heavy rainfall. Modern shorelines are approximately reestablished. Coastal settlements earlier than 5000 BCE are now under water. During the Atlanticum westerly rainstorms stray deep into the desert zones of North Africa and the Near East. The present-day steppe areas were turned into green land. Many lakes are seen, in particular in Africa, that are now always dry. The distribution of the precipitation is the same as nowadays, only the absolute values change."

For those who date the flood at around 3200BC that is not supported by scientific evidence. In fact that period of time was one that was more dryer. Radiocarbon dating of sea floor sediment reveals less water and hence a drier climate.

The Ancient World Concept
To understand the flood as a world wide phenomenon we must understand the ancient concept of how the Sumerians understood their world. To begin with the universe was believed to be one huge and perhaps infinite salt ocean. Whether in the Bible or in the Sumerian tables the creation story is the same. First:
Genesis 1:6 "And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters."
Genesis 1:7 "And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so."
Genesis 1:8 "And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day."
Genesis 1:9 "And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let dry land appear: and it was so." (KJV)

Now to compare this creation story (which is one of two in Genesis, the Enuma Elish also has two versions) with what the Sumerians wrote in the poem The Creation of the Pickax:
"After heaven had been moved away from earth,
After earth had been separated from heaven,
After the name of man had been fixed;

After An had carried off heaven,
After Enlil had carried off earth,
After Ereshkigal had been carried off into Kur as its prize; ...

More form The Creation of the Pickax:
The lord, that which is appropriate verily he caused to appear,
The lord whose decisions are unalterable,
Enlil, who brings up the seed of the land from the earth,
Took care to move away heaven from earth,
Took care to move away earth from heaven.
In order to make grow the creature which came forth,
In the "bond of heaven and earth" (Nippur) he stretched out the . . ."

As we can see in both accounts of creation Heaven was separated from earth. A further explanation occurs in the Babylonian poem the Enuma Elishfor the firmament in the context of Marduk's defeat of Tiamat where he "puts up a roof for the sky" from half of her body. As I understand it Tiamat although a terrible dragon-like creature represents salt water and her counterpart Aspu is fresh water. Also to the Sumerians there may have been land in the form of a mountain, the abode of the gods, but there may have been a beginning now lost where there was no land at the beginning of creation. The implication from The Creation of the Pickax is that there was land when "heaven was moved away from earth". In any case a vault of heaven was created, the firmament, and that now an atmosphere was present. In the Sumerian version it is Enlil who is the god of the air. Anu is the sky god.

The result of the world creation was to the Sumerians basically a flat circle of land surrounded by a river or ocean, a hemisphere above that was the firmament and a hemisphere below containing the underworld and the Aspu. The firmament is what it says it is, that it is a solid hemisphere holding back the cosmic ocean. It was on this firmament that the sun, moon and stars traveled upon. The main topical feature of the land was the two rivers running through it. This is hardly the world wide view we have today. A mighty flood would be a world flood. It must have been terrible, so massive as to split the recording of history into antediluvian and after the flood periods as we can see in the Sumerian kings list and other texts.

From the Myth of Atrahasis we have the Akkadian description of the flood:
No one could see anyone else,
They could not be recognized in the catastrophe.
The Flood roared like a bull,
Like a wild ass screaming the winds howled
The darkness was total, there was no sun.

Nintu [a goddess] was wailing
Would a true father have given
birth to the rolling sea
(So that) they [humans] could clog the river like dragonflies
They are washed up like a raft on a bank,
They are washed up like a raft on a bank in open country!
I have seen, and wept over them!
Shall I (ever) finish weeping for them?'

After this great destruction Enlil when spotting the boat becomes distressed, "How did any man survive the catastrophe?"..."Enki made his voice heard And spoke to the great gods, I did it, in defiance of you! I made sure life was preserved..." It is at this point that the story breaks off and we do not know what happens to Atrahasis or his boat. The concept of a firmament, a flat world ringed by water and a hemispherical underworld survived to the times of the Greeks and Romans. The following are what I call the "round" maps and not straying that far in concept from Sumeria:

This map is Babylonian from about 600 BC. In the black and white illustration you can see that the center is Babylon represented as a black area with six cities on the perimeter as smaller black areas. Assyria is at the northern top and the marshes at the bottom. There are the two great rivers of Iraq running in parallel from north to south. Other illustrations have this band as representing the Euphrates only. A ring representing the encircling ocean of water is also present. This is the map of the world as the Sumerians and Babylonians knew it. It would be a template of how the world would be represented for almost the next thousand years. The notion of a flat earth can be found in the Bible, Daniel 4:10-11 KJV "And thus were the visions of mine head in my bed; I saw, and behold a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height therefore was great. The tree grew, and was strong, and the height therefore reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the end of all the earth:"The implication being that if the world were spherical then not everyone could see this great tree which is the world tree the axis mundi. They could all see it only if the world were flat. The prophet Daniel at this time was captive in Babylon during the reign of King Nebuchadnezzar. The Egyptians had a similar view except they were the center of the universe. The Egyptian goddess Nut and the outstretched wings of the solar disk represented the firmament.
For more information on the ancient flat earth theory go to: http://www.edwardtbabinski.us/geocentrism/scientific_creationism.html.

"In the imagination of the Mesopotamians (the Sumerians, Elamites, Babylonians and Assyrians), the earth was a flat disc, surrounded by a rim of mountains and floating on an ocean of sweet water. Resting on these mountains was the hemispherical vault of the sky, across which moved the stars, the planets, the sun and the moon. Under the earth was another hemisphere containing the spirits of the dead. The Mesopotamians visualized the whole spherical world-universe as being immersed like a bubble in a limitless ocean of salt water."

"Firmament by Rabbi Geoffrey W. Dennis
Hebrew "Rakia." God places a firmament between the waters of earth and the waters of heaven to separate them. Some say there are two firmaments, based on a Biblical verse (Deut. 10:14), but most teach there are seven. Later traditions identify the word rakia as referring to just one of the seven heavens, the level that holds the heavenly bodies."

The Firmament and the Seven Heavens:
"The idea that the heavens are multiple and stacked one above another was widespread among the ancient cultures of the world. Perhaps this came from a natural tendency to ask what lay above the dome of the sky and to imagine a hierarchy of additional skies in which the gods dwelled. But the number of heavens one finds in the world’s ancient mythologies was not necessarily seven. Lesser and greater numbers were imagined, too. The number of seven, or sometimes eight, first took hold in the Near East and eastern Mediterranean world as a blend of Babylonian astronomy and early Greek science. It is true that, of the names for the seven heavens given by the tractate of Hagigah, all but the first, Vilon (which means “curtain” in rabbinic Hebrew), occurs in the Bible as a term, or part of a term, for God’s dwelling place. The word raki’a, generally translated as “firmament,” is found in the account of Creation in the first chapter of Genesis. Shehakim, which probably originally referred to clouds, is rendered by the King James Bible as “heaven” in the verse from Psalms, “Who in the heaven [ba’shehakim] can be compared unto the Lord.” Zevul means “mansion” or “habitation,” as when Isaiah calls upon God, “Look down from heaven and behold from the habitation of thy holiness [zevul kodshekha],” etc. Yet, in the Bible these are basically all synonyms. Nowhere do we find the idea that each refers to a specific heaven distinct from the others.

This concept we find only in rabbinic literature, where it plays an important role, especially in the early form of Jewish mystical thought known as “Hechalot” or “Palace” mysticism. In the Hechalot tradition, it is the task of the mystical initiate to ascend by meditative techniques through the seven heavens one after another, overcoming angelic challenges in each, and then to pass safely through the seven “palaces” of the seventh heaven in order to reach the base of God’s throne. Similar beliefs, each with a complex angelology, existed among various Gnostic sects in the Roman Empire and had some currency in early Christianity, too, at least to judge by Paul’s remark in Corinthians II that “I knew a man in Christ… [who was] caught up to the third heaven.” From Judaism and/or Christianity the idea also spread to Islam, so that we read in Sura 71 of the Quran, “See you not how Allah has created the seven heavens one above another, and made the moon a light in their midst and made the sun a lamp?”

To be in “seventh heaven” is thus to reach the pinnacle of bliss. The expression has been around in English for a long time, although whether it got there from indigenous Christian sources, Jewish ones or Muslim ones, I don’t know. It almost certainly doesn’t come from in zibnten himl, since it’s older than the late 19th-century Yiddish-speaking immigration to the United States. Yet neither does in zibnten himl, which derives from internal Jewish traditions, come from it. Both go back to ancient beliefs that are thousands of years old."

An Alternate view by Zecharia Sitchen on the Anunnaki
Sitchen has translated tablets about gods who came from heaven named the “Anunnaki” who came to earth over 450,000 years ago and about 250,000 years ago genetically engineered humans to become their slaves to mine gold for them. Other translations of the old myths such as the Old Babylonian Myth of Atrahasis tell of the gods creating man to toil for them and how a great council was created to rule over mankind.

The Role of the Anunnaki
"Readers of my books must be smiling by now, for they know the answer.
They know that the biblical verses dealing with the fashioning of The Adam are condensed renderings of much much more detailed Sumerian and Akkadian texts, found inscribed on clay tablets, in which the role of the Elohim in Genesis is performed by the Anunnaki – “Those Who From Heaven to Earth Came.” anet (1976) and even more so in Genesis Revisited and The Cosmic Code, the Anunnaki came to Earth some 450,000 years ago from the planet Nibiru – a member of our own solar system whose great orbit brings it to our part of the heavens once every 3,600 years. They came here in need of gold, with which to protect their dwindling atmosphere. Exhausted and in need of help in mining the gold, their chief scientist Enki suggested that they use their genetic knowledge to create the needed Primitive Workers. When the other leaders of the Anunnaki asked: How can you create a new being? He answered:
"The being that we need already exists; all that we have to do is put our mark on it.”
The time was some 300,000 years ago.

What he had in mind was to upgrade genetically the existing hominids, who were already on Earth through Evolution, by adding some of the genes of the more advanced Anunnaki. That the Anunnaki, who could already travel in space 450,000 years ago, possessed the genomic science (whose threshold we have now reached) is clear not only from the actual texts but also from numerous depictions in which the double-helix of the DNA is rendered as Entwined Serpents (a symbol still used for medicine and healing) -- see illustration ‘A’ below [to the left].

When the leaders of the Anunnaki approved the project (as echoed in the biblical ”Let us fashion the Adam”), Enki with the help of Ninharsag, the Chief Medical Officer of the Anunnaki, embarked on a process of genetic engineering, by adding and combining genes of the Anunnaki with those of the already-existing hominids.
When, after much trial and error breathtakingly described and recorded in antiquity, a “perfect model” was attained, Ninharsag held him up and shouted: “My hands have made it!” An ancient artist depicted the scene on a cylinder seal (illustration ‘B’) [to the left]. And that, I suggest, is how we had come to possess the unique extra genes. It was in the image of the Anunnaki, not of bacteria, that Adam and Eve were fashioned."
(No URL for this quote from Zecharia Sitchen)

We know that Sitchen is led astray about Adam. The Urantia Book says (p. 742-3) that the legends of the creation of special bodies by the Life Carriers for the 100 became confused with the installation of Adam and Eve. Also, the tablets describe the adam or mankind not Adam of Adam and Eve. In Hebrew adam means man as a generic reference and Adam as a proper name.

It is easy to see why the two events became confused with one another creating a blending of the two stories. First is the repersonalization of the 100 and of Adam and Eve. Second, both are associated with the Tree of Life. Both contain a default story. Also they both have God/man/sex legends. And finally both are located between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in southern Mesopotamia.

The subtitle "The Shining Ones" applies to Inanna and Utu only but "Those Who from Heaven to Earth Came" applies to all.
