Attainable... Your goals can not be Pie In The Sky - no Fellow Money Getter, they must be ambitious, and at the same time be goals that can be attained with hard work and careful planning. Because you don't want to discourage yourself, your employees or business partners. You want them to be excited about that goal, because you were quite specific in the details of the goals, and each person is confident that he or she can do their part. So Lead...
Realistic... You have to be realistic as to the time line for the goals to be accomplished, as to the expected complications that may come up, as to some team members falling behind, and for some goals to be revised.
Time Oriented... All Goals Are Dreams With A Timeline. And so you must have a time frame for each sub-goal to be accomplished, and also for each team member to do their part, including you.
Time Oriented... By when do you need this goal accomplished, in a realistic timeline? And at what period will you check your progress with your team and of your team?
