On Bended Knee ... I come to You my Dearest God to converse with You, and to seek Your true Friendship. I am at my weakest whenever I am in the presence of The Almighty God, Whom You Are.
I am on bended knee gladly. I am with a bended heart humbly. I live in a bended mind sorrily. I have a bended spirit ready to serve. For You my God cause me to bend at the knee so I can hide perfectly within your ever loving wings, and receive all that a “ Heir To A Throne “ should.
As I realize my sins, my transgressions and my iniquities all against You; then I quickly become ashamed and wish to serve you all the days of my life on bended knee, as a sign of recognizing my imperfections and as a way to show my sincerity in obeying Your Commands.
Yes Lord, my knees are bent in Your holy presence as I ask for forgiveness, then for mercy and afterward for grace. For I know how merciful, kind, forgiving and loving You are.
So I bend my heart to say thank You, and show my true appreciation for all the times that You had to put with me, and with my silly moods as well as my childish ways.
Lord, again I thank You for helping me to learn to bend my neck, and humble myself to obey Your Holy Commands, since I was so tired of being stiffed neck.
I now realize that only with a bended spirit can You work to pour Your knowledge and wisdom into. And only then can You constantly bend my mind to begin thinking anew.
I bend all that I am as it helps me to forget me. So I can give You true praise and worship You as my daily sacrifice. You, Oh God are worthy of a bended me as well as a bended Universe.
I am lost in the jungles of confusion and in all of life problems, when I walk standing tall. But when I bend at the knee and lower myself to the ground, only then can I truly see all the movements of my spiritual enemies being manifested in this physical realm.
Amazingly Lord, You have patiently awaited for me to come to terms that You alone are God. And that You alone will sustain me when I am broken, and when I bend at the knee because all my strengths have been drained from doing my own thing, then You stoop down to lift me up.
Now I worship You gladly, now I serve You willingly, now I obey Your commands fervently, now I bless You with joy, now on bended knee I deliver myself into Your Holy Hands. Thank You My God.
My soul is blessed, my heart is at peace, my life is invigorating, my joy is uplifted, my momentum is unstoppable, my sins are forgiven, my mind is renewed, my harvest has arrived and my time has finally come. All because I finally learned how to truly bend at the knee and give unconditional praises as love poems to God daily. James Dazouloute
