The Bra... What Do You Really Know About This Cancer Causing Apparatus.

 The Bra..

Because if you go back to Genesis or at the beginning of Mankind, then you will find that Mother Eve was made to walk around naked in the Garden of Eden. And later on God gave her leaves to cover her private parts, but never something to restrict the blood flow within her body, or to hold anything tightly in place. Because a Man and Woman were created to roam freely and for their bodies to function properly from head to toe without any restriction.

And The Bra, though supportive, does have many medical side effects that women have suffered from for many years. And According to a 1994 book 'Dressed To Kill' by authors Sydney Ross Singer and Soma Grismaijerin, it was suggested that wearing a bra can increase a woman's chance of dying from Breast Cancer. The authors state that the wearing of bras inhibit the normal function of the lymphatic system in and around the bra area. It is also stated that it decreases the removal of toxins from the breasts and increases the chance of breast cancer...

So Let's Find Out What We Can About The Bra:
---In 1893, Marie Tucek patented a 'breast supporter' There were two pockets of fabric with two straps that went over the shoulders. They were attached by a hook-and-eye fastener.

---In 1912, the word 'brassiere' first appeared in the Oxford English Dictionary. Meaning "Under Arm". Or is a woman's undergarment that supports her breasts...I n the French language, the term for brassière is soutien-gorge (literally "throat-support"). In French, gorge (throat) was a common euphemism for the breast.

---In 1913, Mary Phelps Jacobs was getting dressed to go to a formal dinner in a lacy dress, and the corset she was wearing had some of the whalebones and steel rods sticking out. This was the beginning of the 'bra as we know it'. She created a 'bra-like' garment.

---Ida Rosenthal in 1928 created cup sizes for bras.

---Mark Twain and his great inventions, such as The Bra Strap... It was his love of the ladies that led to his most lasting invention. He designed the bra strap clasp. It’s an elastic strap with a clasp that holds loose garments together, such as vests, pantaloons, or other garments. He meant for the straps to be detachable, and usable on various pieces of clothing. "The advantages of such an adjustable and detachable elastic strap are so obvious that they need no explanation."

-Well-made bras are designed to last up to 100 washes. They will likely to change sizes after that, which is why it is advisable to go bra shopping every year.

-Your bra size is wrong if..

-you have to wear it on the tightest hook to feel comfortable

-your straps have to cut into your skin in order for your bust to be supported

-you see bulges at the top sides of your bra

-there is gap between the cup of your bra and your breasts when you wear the bra.

-The biggest bra now available on the high street is KK - that's a 20inch cup size

-A firm fitting bra is most comfortable as it does not shift on your body with wear and active lifestyles. It supports and evenly distributes the weight from your bust line and results in greater comfort. Begin by fitting firmly on the loosest hook, then move to the second and third hooks as the bra ages and stretches.

-You should not feel the underwire of a well-fitted bra. Most underwire complaints are the result of a cup too shallow or the bra band riding up the back. This forces the under wire to slide forward into the breast tissue, cause weight to impinge on the rib cage or dig into your skin.

-You can minimize show through by positioning the nipple on the seam of your bra. Plus, a properly fitted bra eliminates shifting and nipple irritation, which can help prevent the nipple from becoming erect.

-If you're a small or medium breasted woman (A to C cup), a compression bra will offer support and comfort. Or if you prefer, you can choose a bra that offers encapsulation for shaping as well as support. If you're a larger breasted woman (C to FF cup), encapsulating styles that separate and support your breasts are more comfortable and more supportive than compression bras. For maximum support, choose a sport bra that does both.

-In 2008 archaeologists working at the Lengberg Castle in Eastern Tyrol, Austria, discovered 2700 fragments of Textile, among them four bras. Two of them were modern looking bras, the other two were undershirts with incorporated cups. All bras were from Linen
